"You want me to help break you and Jack out?!" He said in shock as his hands shuffled through the pile of research I had laid on my bed.

I nodded, sitting across from him and looking down at the pile. "You're his son. He would never suspect you."

He raised an eyebrow, before nodding in agreement. "That is true. But how will we do this?"

"I kind of made a plan." I said, pulling a yellow paper from the pile and reading the steps from 1 to 5.

"Step one! Create a distraction/switch off the cameras. You'll do this by cutting the power off. Step two! Get jack out of his room. I was thinking we could break the lock with something. Step three! Meet me and jack at the exit of the facility after you've cut the power. Step four! Break us out. Again, we can break the lock. But we'll need something extra strong for the exit. Step five! Hijack a car. This can be left to me."

Junior stared at me in awe, blinking a couple of times.

"Sooo...?" I muttered, waiting for his opinion.

He grinned. "I'm in!"

I knew Junior enough to be sure that he would agree to this bizarre plan. He's always in the mood to disobey his bossy father.

"Good! Tomorrow night, meet here. Bring something that can break locks." I told him, grabbing all the papers and putting them in my drawer. "Make sure no one sees you. Midnight is a good time." I shut the drawer and turned to look at him. "Then, you leave and shut the power off in the generator room. Got it?"

He nodded, standing up. "Got it." He reassured.

"Good. I'll see you tomorrow."

The day was long, and hard. I spent hours following Dr. Johnson around, doing errands for him. Studying blood samples he took from Jack. Once again.

It was painfully boring.

I couldn't help but think about the plan which was scheduled to take place at midnight. I wondered what Junior was going to bring me to break the locks, how Jack will react, if the power outage will succeed...

But finally, it was almost time.

I stood in the centre of my room, dressed in a pair of skinny jeans and a baggy sweater which said "Johnson Labs" across it. It was the only sweater I had. But I planned on changing it once I reached my destination.

On my back, was my personal belongings. Pictures, jewelry. Everything else like clothing and such was left behind. I didn't have any personal clothing anyway. It was all mostly lab coats, dress pants and collar shirts Dr. Johnson had provided everyone with.

My eyes stared intensely at the clock.

12:00, it read.

I knew it was crazy to think Junior would be there at exactly 12, but I couldn't help but wait impatiently.

12:01.

I began to shake.

Finally, a sudden knock emerged from behind the door, I jumped in my black converse a bit, before hesitantly walking to the door and slowly twisting the handle.

As I opened the door, I prayed that it was Dr. Johnson. If he saw me dressed in casual clothes, he'd question me for hours. Plus, he'd be disgusted. Joe Johnson was not a man of casualty.

I peered through the crack of the door, seeing the familiar Johnson Junior standing in front of me. I sighed in relief, before fully opening the door and letting him in before closing it behind him.
