I can't seem to hold on to you
you're slipping away
and it breaks my heart again
the photo still hangs on the wall
along with the memories
you and I
when life smiled
the shadows on the wall
they dance every night
like you and I did
when the sky was full of stars
two sisters who held hands
and dreamed together
my footsteps echo
when I walk down the hall
looking at photos and shadows
I feel like ages have passed
like my innermost was changed
that terrible day
your death
