Chapter 17

Author's POV

Looking at her self in mirror Rachel found broken girl with hard exterior . She has decided to be someone heartless ,someone who don't took pity on anyone , someone ruthless .someone she is not But inside she exactly knew who she really is .

She sighed and ran her hands down her beautiful violet dress .

"Are you rea...." Jess stopped in middle when she saw her friend standing in front of mirror

"You look gorgeous!" She said making Rachel smile .

"I am ready we should leave now" Rachel said stepping into her black heels .

" lemme call the taxi" she said leaving her alone in room again .

For the first time in months she decided to enjoy herself again . She decided to be someone she isn't .She smiled at herself in mirror and left the room closing door behind her . Just as she step into her small yet comfortable living room fat orange cat clung to her feet . She looked down at her beloved cat and smiled .

Picking her up in arms she walked inside kitchen and pour her some cat food . She patted her head and left her there to enjoy her food .

"Lets go" Jess said picking her clutch

She nodded and followed her friend outside the apartment.

He looked around to find people with smiles on their faces to them he is also happy but unlike them his smile don't reach his deep grey eyes . Breaking his train of thoughts his friend put his hand on his shoulder saying

"Aaron"

"Why are you sitting here alone people are asking about you"

"I was just feeling tired"he lied still not looking at his face

"You....." Mathew was intrupted by his sister's voice

"What you both are doing here chit chatting ?if you were planning to do this then why did you held this party" Mathew and Aaron both smiled at this childish girl who is so fast to jump into conclusions

"I was there to get Aaron and what are you doing here?" Mathew asked his sister

"I came here in search of some silence as I was trying to call my friend"

"She is babbling about that friend of hers since I came back I am now actually curious to meet her" Mathew said to Aaron

"I think she is pretty important to you" Aaron asked her on which she nodded with huge smile on her face .

"Come on let's go" Rosie said and dragged them both to more crowded area .

"Where are they I hope she don't change her mind" Rosie said in impatient tune

"She is gonna be here don't worry" her brother assured her

And then some expected people entered in hall

"Mr Steve I knew you would make it" Mathew hugged his father's old friend

"How couldn't I when I wanted to see Jasper's son all grown up" he said giving him heart warming smile

"I am glad you are here too" Mathew said turning towards his wife who was standing next to him wearing elegant light blue dress .

"Thanks for inviting us" she said in sweet voice

"It's my honour to have you both here tonight . I would like you to meet my sister Rosie and my friend Aaron" couple turn towards beautiful girl standing next to man they already knew
