This novel was fast-paced and light-hearted. The main characters are lovable and the villains are so despicable that you hate them to the core. I'm not one who encourages violence but there came a point that one of the villains got so unbearable that I really wanted to hop into the book myself, take out a Death Note, and give that particular character the most torturous, slow death possible.
Although it's not my most favorite of all of the ones I've read, it was definitely enjoyable and I kept flipping pages to see what happened next.
This story is better when you have someone else to rave about it with you. So if you guys really, really, really want to enjoy this, I highly recommend going to the original site itself. Because this story was so popular on there, there was an entire fanbase for this story camping in the comments section after it got to a certain point in the beginning. People actually wrote chapter fanfictions in the comments section that could rival the book itself and ranted about certain characters together. The comments are hilarious and worth checking out.
