Pain's Song (Anxiety)

I can feel my emotions like a storm carrying wind,
At times like this I wish I had a friend,
Even though the worst is just around the bend,
I try my best not to lie,
Though it makes me want to cry;

I wonder if anyone can notice my feelings towards my pain,
And all the heavy heartfelt weight I've yet to gain;

What will become of me?
A future I cannot see,
I wish to join the happy people,
Even if it was possible,
I wouldn't belong;

And for the fears that I have,
Dreams on how they won't last,
For they belong in the past;
