Like a Bird in the Sky

As I take a deep breath,
My feet lift off the ground,
No one will see me,
Nothing will hurt me now,
I'm brushing off the pain,
I'm gonna let go of what I know,
I'm gonna fly high, never low;

I'll be up in the air,
With the wind blowing through my hair,
I'll be free,
Gonna spread my wings and fly,
Just like a bird in the sky;

I'm gonna break the chains that hold me,
I'm gonna leave it all behind me,
As I leap,
No one will see,
Nothing will hurt me now,
As I leave the ground;

I'm gonna let go of everything I know,
I'm gonna fly high, never low;

The world looks so small,
It makes me feel so tall,
And if there's nothing to break my fall,
