Luna POV
I couldn't be happier right now. I can't believe Roman and Isabella asked Dante and I to be their child's godparents. Oh boy, we are going to spoil that child rotten. From all the excitement today, I started to get a little baby fever. I want to enjoy the time Dante and I have alone, just as a married couple, but I can't help but want to see our children running around.
We get lost in each other until late into the night, before falling asleep, wrapped around each other.
Around 2 A.M. I shoot up out of my sleep, sweating. I have this bad feeling in the pit of my stomach, and for some reason am drawn to the window. I look outside, scanning the yard and since it's dark outside, and inside the room is dark, I can see out but you can't see in from the outside. That's when I see a shadow staring up at our window, 'Kaiden'. I hear a loud gun shot before our window shatters, and I pain radiates through my body. I'm screaming bloody murder right before darkness takes over and I fall to the ground.
