"What the hell are you doing in here? Haven't you heard of knocking?" The woman barks at Dunia as she tries to slip into her clothes as quickly as possible.

Even in a dimly lit room, Dunia can see Barqat's well-toned muscles. The gleaming sweat on his abs are emphasizing the defined muscles so much more. Luckily, his bottom half is covered with a blanket. She can feel her face beating up, not now, Dunia! She quickly darts her attention towards the woman.

As Dunia predicted, this woman is a complete super model; looks, body and all. "I live here, you're in my suite. I don't have to knock if I don't want to."

Dunia becomes shocked at her own snarky comment. She's not the type to snap back at someone like this. But it's reasonable that she couldn't hold it in this time. There's a random naked, married woman in her temporary apartment, sleeping with Dunia's husband, she has every right to be snappy.

Dunia's eyes meet Barqat's and he has a playful smirk on his face. She wants to slap the smirk right off of his face, she wants to throw him off the 152 floor, she wants him to land on the floor like a squashed bug on a windshield.

"What is it, my love?" Barqat's smooth voice fills her arm with goosebumps. Don't let him effect you like this, Dunia! You're better than this! Dunia's hand forms a fist, her nails are so deep into her palm, she's sure she's bleeding or close to bleeding.

"Don't you dare call me that, Mr. Barqat Sheikh." Dunia's tone is almost threatening. "James wants you to sign some papers and email it back. He said it's extremely important so you should probably get to it ASAP."

"I understand why you're punishing her, she's pretty rude. Middle-class women make middle-class wives." The woman says.

"That's it. You asked for this!" Dunia says out loud. She picks up her slipper, which to her advantage, has a rubbery hard sole. She throws it right at the woman's head and didn't miss.

"Ow! You fucking bitch!" The woman begins to yell but Dunia slams the door shut before the woman could say or do anything further.

The moment Dunia shuts the door, she thinks about how she's never lost her anger before like this, she barely ever raised her voice. Barqat's evolving her into an insane person. Of course it felt great throwing that shoe at that woman's rude head but she wasn't raised like this. She prefers her calm self.

She goes to her room and closes her door. She slides her back down the wall and begins to burst into tears. She cries for a while, to let everything out of her system.

She begins to walk around the room as she talks to herself. "I can't keep going like this. This was just one girl. Soon, he'll bring over so many more. I'll be ruined before I can even begin."

She thinks about divorce and how that option is basically nonexistent, or maybe for now, because that would completely crumble her and his parents' world. "I just have to shut off my emotions. I have to shut it off for good. I don't know how, but I have to before I break."

"And how do you plan on doing that?" Barqat is leaning against the door frame.

Dunia's head whips towards the door, "What are you doing in here?" Why does he always appear out of nowhere? What is he? A ghost?
