Yeoboseyo— another informal way of saying hello (mostly on the phone)

Annyeonggasaeyo (annyeonggaesaeyo)— Goodbye when one is staying (says goodbye when one is leaving)

Gamsahabnida— "Thank you" (formal)

Gomawo(yo)— "Thanks" (informal)

Nae (grae)— "Yes" (informal)

Aniyo (ani)— "No" (informal)

Maknae— Youngest member in a Korean group/band
Maknae-line - Youngest members of group: Jimin, V, Jungkook

Hyung— Males call older brothers or male friends

Oppa— Females call older brothers, male friends, or boyfriend

Noona— Males call older sisters or female friends

Aegyo— Acting overly cute and innocent

Hwaiting— "Fighting!" or "You can do it!", expression used for encouragement

Saesang— Insane/psycho fans that go to most extreme and creepiest measures just to get a simple glimpse of an idol

Seonsaengnim— teacher

Sunbaenim (sunbae)— Used for someone with more experience or someone who is ahead of you in education/work (informal)
