1000 Tartarus years later aka 2 mortal years later.

It was another normal day in Tartarus. I swung Moira onto my back.

Ever since I arrived in Tartarus I had been plagued by monsters. I had died approximately 63 times already, but I always reformed. Tartarus was enraged that I live in his pit. He made me kill the Maeonian drakon each day as punishment for helping Damasen. I didn't care. A thousand years in Tartarus taught me that nothing mattered anymore. At least I upheld Damasen's legacy.

After killing a hydra for disturbing my nap, I set to work on the library. I had built an entire mansion of bones and other things I found in the pit. Although I had no books, building took my mind off my eternal suffering.

I had built a decent house. There was a living room and a kitchen and a large king-sized bed in the master bedroom. Not that I would ever entertain people. I had nothing else to do.

Suddenly, I heard my bone wind chime doorbell ring. I stood in the library staring into space.

It rang again. Never in a thousand years would I expect a visitor.

It rang again.

"Coming!" I squeaked.

I rushed to get Moira. This could be a trap. This could be a trap. It could be the Arai sent to curse me.

I opened the door carefully.

A young teenager stood in the doorway. She had a pink leather jacket, a white shirt, black pants, and combat boots. It had been a long time since I saw colors. I almost forgot what the sky looked like.

I kept staring.

"Can I come in now, or what?" she asked matter-of-factly.

I let her come in without any questions. I still had Moira in my hand. I did not trust this girl.

She looked around my house.

"Nice place you've got here." she stated.

I didn't respond.

She sighed. "Has it really been that long for you to forget your manners? My name's Pax, and you are Perseus, I presume."

I kept staring.

"I suppose you want to know why I came here." Pax continued. "You see, I was with my satyr friend delivering a new half-blood to camp. Suddenly a tall figure with four arms comes and attacks us. H-he ki..." her voice broke.

I gestured for her to take a seat on the leather bone couch. I went to the closet and got a leather blanket for her to calm herself down. I really didn't know what else to do.

"Thank you." Pax said as she took the blanket. "This figure came and killed my friend and the half-blood. She was only eight-years-old." She began crying again.

I rubbed her back. "It's okay. It's okay. He's not here. I'll protect you."

She nodded. "Then they told me at camp that you killed them. I told them it was someone, no, something else, but they didn't believe me. I have spent the past two years training and preparing myself for the journey down here. You probably don't remember, but you saved my life during the Titan War. It was the least I could do."

I was speechless. I had given up on hope a long time ago. Now Pax, a demigod, had come to retrieve me. Most demigods hated me except Nico and Thalia. She knew that I had been wronged. She fought a battle that wasn't hers. Would I ever be that brave?

"Let me formally introduce myself." I stood up with new determination. "My name is Percy Jackson, former son of Poseidon, son of Hades, twice savior of Olympus."

Pax began to grin. "My name is Pax, daughter of Hermes, god of messengers and thieves. In my father's good name, let's bust out of here, shall we?"

And that is how my new life with the dazzling daughter of Hermes began.
