We walked and talked like strings were forced to tug on our lips. My knees were unsteady, but the invisible strings were enough to hold me up. I saw it once when I looked at you. Your strings were held up high. And our hearts are tangled in a mess. But in time, I longed for freedom, and so did you. So I decided to cut you loose. But I never thought my heart would be stuck, hanging loosely by a thread you left.
