Nobody knows...
that I was left stranded in a place you never asked me to stay;
that I was left stranded in a memory you never ask me to recall;
that I was left stranded in a love I thought you'd never give up;
that I was left stranded in between our never-and-maybe 'you'll come back';
that I was left stranded in missing the stars you've put on my sky.
I am left stranded but I will swim back in time before the ocean dries out. And in there, you'll find me again on my nest — no longer stranded.
