Summary:

Review:
I'm in the mood for revenge faceslap and I thought this novel will be a showdown between original female lead and MC, but it's a big not. I would rate this 2, the additional star is for author's effort to make this novel a bit different than the usual transmigration plot.
First MC is from modern era transmigrate to ancient era. She already marry ML and have 3 yo son. ML already poisoned original MC, after MC transmigrated he stopped the poisoning. ML fall in love with MC, MC knew she was poisoned by ML and tried to run away but got caught by ML. MC slowly fall in love with ML, but she fell ill. She met a taoist who said she will die according the novel. MC realize if she didn't love ML and keep scolding him, she will get better, but she love ML so she become ill because of the poison. ML felt guilty but he didn't want to let MC die. MC keep begging him to kill her, at the end ML stabbed MC. ML become crazy, he didn't let anyone bury MC corpse. one day MC residence caught in fire, ML become desperate. MC went back to modern world. MC met the taoist again, the taoist ask her if she remember everything. MC said she didn't remember. Suddenly MC went back to ancient (transmigrate with her body). MC met ML brother, she run away. MC hide outside capital, ML found her and take her back. ML locked her inside house, he separated from his own family to move to new residence. MC son thought ML want to remarry, he want to kill the woman. When he met MC, he recognize her (even though the son already saw MC corpse). ML found out MC didn't love him, she can fall in love with other men but not him. It was said it's a curse from their past life. In past life MC is a princess, married ML prince from southwest king. Then the southwest king rebel, ML killed all MC family. When MC become hostage, ML killed her. MC said she never want to met him again, if she fell in love with him she will die in pain (that's why MC fell ill despite the poison shouldn't working since ML stopped midway). MC and ML live together even if  MC didn't love ML. The end....
In extra ML in past life regret killing MC, he live in despair after he become emperor. He met the taoist in dream, he was asked if he want to meet MC again in next life even though MC won't love him and they could only be together in 3 lifetimes. ML said he's willing.
The story is like confused and not focused. The taoist didn't have any meaning, in the end MC still couldn't fall in love with ML. She actually care ML but her heart is dull. The whole story only points out ML regrets and got abused by MC who didn't like him, and ML's obsession toward MC. The transmigration into novel lost it's meaning since MC remembered about her past life. The other characters seems fading out, only to show up as filler. That's why I thought to give 2 star.
