Summary:
It is eight or nine years for her to meet her first love again. In the gas station of highway, she sees him walking from the grocery store. She looks at him, not believing what she sees and asks, ‘Do you still remember me?’ He looks at her, with a bottle of mineral water in his hand, and says peacefully, ‘Yes, even if you became ashes.

Review:
I would like to give 5 stars but the plot actually as expected. It is a not too short and not too long fluffy romance, a bit slow pace on early chapters but it got fast pace near ending.
ML father open a auto mobile garage, he's a drunkard who often beat ML. ML plan to drop out on high school but he met MC and decide to continue his study. He dated MC when MC was third year junior school while he is in senior high school. After ML finish his college or when he is still in college, I'm not sure, he enlisted to military. MC disagree because they will have long distance relationship and it was dangerous. But ML went without compromise with MC. They have LDR then broke up when MC is in senior high school.
MC father is a senior in military, he had affair and MC mother want to divorce but MC father didn't want to divorce since it will affect his career. MC threaten to report his affair and she got thrown out from home. Soon her mother got sick, MC felt lonely and ML is away in army. They are stressed with their own affair and always quarrel, eventually MC broke up with ML. ML beg MC but she never want to meet ML again.
7 years later MC met ML again in their hometown, MC learnt that ML was stationed in front line Mongol. 2 years later MC went to Mongol and ask ML help. I think both of them need 7 years cooling down then 2 years of yearning before taking action...
MC tried to get back together with ML but ML always cold to her. ML finally ask for MC help to take care a child of his comrade. ML plan to go back to Beijing so he can be with her.
MC went back first and took care the child. Then she heard from old friend that ML has come back to get married with other woman who also an old friend. MC ask ML and he said yes. Later MC heard from her friend the complete version. ML father owe a sum of money to the woman father. The woman already divorced once, after she heard they plan to marry her to ML, she agreed because ML is capable and handsome. ML went back to break the engagement, he plan to clean up the mess before wooing MC but MC heard it first. ML offer to pay the debt and break off the marriage. MC agreed to wait for him.
They got together then MC got pregnant, ML went to a mission. MC about to give birth and ML was injured. MC father took her to see ML in military hospital. MC gave birth to a daughter. They got married and the end.
