Review:
Reading in MTL, it's understandable and not giving a headache despite ancient and xianxia arc. There're only 5 arcs, some I think a bit weird but I still cried on all arcs. The story revolved only on MC and ML, no other important characters. Don't hope any character development, it's simply a QT story with heavy romance and obsession. I don't like the 4th and 5th arc, it's a bit weird. But overall it's a good story.

Story summary:
At prologue it was said MC died and bind with trainee system to correct the corrupted protagonist. She need to gain his trust then kill him to eliminate the danger.
1st arc zombie king. ML become zombie due to experiment. The world already past apocalypse and become normal modern world. Because there was a zombie king who can manipulate puppet to dominate the world, some people want to try it. They make experiment and only ML survived. ML killed all of them and shut himself in his house. He can control puppet and will dissect anyone who rent a room in his building. MC become his neighbor, in the story OMC is a cannon fodder. She was cousin of OFL, OFL have a relationship with a man who already have fiancee. The fiancee got angry when she found out and destroy OFL family aka the MC.
MC got cooking skill and keep trying to bait ML with her food. ML slowly got hooked and get used to her presence. He ate breakfast and lunch with her but he take his dinner back to his room. Later MC found out from her system that ML can't get close to human and will have painful reaction, he ate a lot of medicine (made by himself) to suppress his crazyness. OFL found MC and live with her for sometime. MC told her that OFL man already has a fiancee. OFL keep trust the man since she's pregnant but turns out the man abort her child. MC want to revenge her cousin but ML stop her and help her revenge. In turn ML got sick again, ML asked MC if she is happy that the man got his retribution. MC said she is not happy because ML got sick. Since MC gain ML trust, the system asked her to kill ML or she will die and failed the mission. MC refused and choose to die, system gave her stomach and brain cancer and she will die in 3 months. MC is afraid ML can't get use to his life once she died. So she try to leave ML for several days, she made ML favorite jam according the days she left. ML asked her to stay, he refuse the jam. MC coaxed him and left abroad with OFL. MC keep send a message once a week to ML. Once she died the OFL keep sending it for her. ML tried to get close to human so he can get out and travelling with MC. ML went to OFL to find MC. OFL brought him to jasmine hills or just a garden. OFL said she died due to illness and didn't want him to find out. She left a bunch of memo for him. ML read the memos, one of them said jasmine flower language is true love not friendship. ML then kill himself in MC grave.
MC refuse to cooperate with system because she didn't want to kill ML, she keep suicide on every world. Finally the system relent and promise as long as she can gain 100 trust point and the ML blackening is 0. MC asked system to transfer her back to the first world. MC went back at the time when she tried to kill ML due to system control. MC found out ML remembered the last memory. ML tried to stay with MC all the time. MC went out with him and stayed for 30 years. Before she died she told him to make her as his puppet so she can stay with him forever.
2nd arc demon king. ML is a fox demon, MC is medicine king sister. ML is targeted by a lot of people because his heart can make people stronger. MC save him. Several years later MC leave her sect and find ML. ML pampered her. MC brother found MC and want to take her back. MC said she want to stay with ML. MC brother leave her a lot of medicine. Some time later, ML took MC back to her brother because he wants to take revenge for his family. MC teleport to ML, ML is heavily injured and a group of people try to kill him. MC save him and make him went into her space bracelet. She buried the bracelet and left him. MC got caught by snake demon, ML fight the snake. MC and ML got poisoned. ML gave MC a part of his heart. MC and ML married and live together.
3rd arc fortune teller. MC become a kitten, she live with ML. ML still 13 yo and got bullied by others. His family died one after another and the other said he's a bad omen. MC got killed by other bullies, ML killed the bullies and fled. MC got back as a widow. ML lost his right arm and become a fortune teller. He lives in temple. He also study blood curse, in the original story he will sacrifice a lot of people and he'll die due to backlash. MC try to get close to ML. ML got drugged by a woman, MC save him. ML found out that she is the kitten. ML marry her. MC got pregnant. ML predict her future and found out she'll die when giving birth. He went to a curse expert (not sure), he use his blood to make complicated diagram to save MC but failed. He went to the temple, he slice himself on every steps. After a month he went back to MC. MC knew he's badly injured because of her. They keep quite and live as family. MC gave birth to a daugther. 5 years later the daugther ask MC why ML only have 1 arm. MC said ML only have 1 hand but he has a pair of wings who will keep her safe for years. ML cried when he heard it.
4th arc mermaid. ML is a mermaid, MC is a princess who deemed wi bring destruction so she got jailed together with ML. ML is tortured by the national teacher (who is a rat demon), the rat demon want ML pearl to get more power. ML give it to him to save MC but the rat demon killed MC as sacrifice. MC become resentment ghost. She took back ML pearl then save ML. ML got angry because she died, he tried to kill everyone but got stopped by MC. They went back to the sea. ML tried every way to make her stay with him. MC resentment dissipate and she's about to disappear. She said goodbye to ML and went back to the palace in order to get back resentment. She promise ML that she'll go back to him. ML gave her a necklace so he can know where she is. MC met a little beggar who can see her, the beggar follow her. After MC got into the palace, all the original resentment dissipate and she disappear. The beggar took her necklace and make a grave. ML exchange his pearl and turns to human. He found MC grave then become bubbles. MC repeat and went back to the time she met the beggar. The beggar is about to die due to illness (the plot changes because MC went back). MC use beggar body and went back to ML. She live with ML for 15 years and die together.
5th arc demon disciple. MC is a senior practitioner in her sect. She took ML as disciple. Other sect try to kill ML because a man with high divination said ML will become demon and destruct the world. MC keep protecting ML. Several years later, MC took another disciple, ML devastated. ML love MC but in the sect, it was taboo to have master disciple love. MC ask him to take OFL as his junior sister. OFL refuse because ML said he'll help her revenge. MC found out, ML left and become demon. The other sect asked her to kill ML. When MC is about to kill ML, she teleport him far away and kill the others. She died after helping ML revenge. ML become crazy. The man who gave divination, tricked ML. If he want to save MC, he should go to underworld. ML accept it and tried to ask how to save in underworld. He failed and become sands with MC.
MC wake up in 21st century then I'm not sure how she went back as deity. It was said she and ML went into love trial together. MC went to find ML who still at bottom of lake with impurities. They got together.
When MC is about to get her lightning tribulation, ML shield her.
ML is a powerful god, when he got struck by lightning, he saw a jasmine flower between his scale. He notice there's conscience and protect her. The flower turns to deity which is MC. ML thought she is his since MC become deity because of him. ML stalk her and about to confess when he was asked to eliminate impurities or evil energy.
