Summary:

Review:
This novel is a pure fluffy romance with some dark background story. It's not a dark deep story but more focusing to the romance between ML and MC.
MC has mental sickness, she went to psychiatrist from once a week to once a month. She lives alone and always locked her windows and doors. Her mother was divorced from her father and remarry with a man who also has a son, a lot younger from MC. After the divorce MC stay with her mother before her mother remarry. Then MC father died in fire, he was a firefighter.
MC neighbor is a policeman, at first MC mother try to match MC with the policeman and later ML will get jealous. MC and ML were a close friend from junior high school. Then ML moved away with his grandpa after his mother death. ML father was an alcoholic and often beat ML mother. MC and ML met again after several years. ML legs are disabled due to car accident 2 years ago. He want to get close to MC but ashamed with his legs. Slowly they got closer again. ML legs healed due to rehabilitation. MC realize she loves ML but feel insecure due to her past.

In MC and ML hometown, when they were in junior high scholl, a girl from the same school was murdered. Later when ML mother want to divorce ML father, she was kidnapped and a week later her corpse was found. ML blame his father because he didn't show up on his appointment with ML mother. ML father woke up at that time and sent ML to his grandpa to protect him. Several years later when MC in college, she plan to go back to her hometown. She arrived late, on the way home she met a stranger, his oranges fell out of bag and MC help him pick them. MC was kidnapped and tortured for a week. The kidnapper will always ask her if she want to die. He told MC that ML mother ask to die because she thought ML died while searching for her. MC keep saying she want to live. When she saw a chance she run out and ask for help to 2 men outside. But the men left and MC got caught. Later the men report it to police and MC was rescued. The murderer was sentenced to death due to MC witness.
A lot of people in MC college know about her accident, they spread rumor that MC may be raped and pity her everywhere she goes. MC got depressed and have PTSD. Her boyfriend break up with her at this time due to the rumors, he can't stand the gossip and even blame MC. MC exploded and scold him. She moved away due to her sickness. At that time ML just have car accident so his grandpa didn't inform him, he just said that his mother murderer was caught and sentenced to death. ML didn't know that MC was the last victim.
