She lies
Yes, she does
But when she says the truth
It's obvious
She's a menace
She really is
But she can be really serious
If she is
What they never noticed was the truth
She'd said the truth
But wasn't believed
She explained
She had witnesses
But she was shut down
She wasn't laughing
She wasn't smiling
She didn't have the look in her eyes
She was serious
They never noticed
They punished her
Made her feel like nothing
Killed her inside
But what hurt the most
The person who gave the same excuse
Was left to go free
Why?
Because she was his favourite.
