Did you think it didn't hurt?
Every time you insult me
Do you think I don't break?
Every time you shout at me
Do you think I don't shake?
Every time you laugh at me
Do you think my breath doesn't stop?
Every time you hurt me
What do you think happens?
I'm scared for my life
I live every second like a prisoner
I'm hurting
Inside and out
I'm dying slowly
Dying in this silence so lowly
And you don't care
You don't seem to understand
I'm human too
I bleed
I weep
I tear
I wear
I break
I shake
And one day I'll fade
But you don't see
That I'm human
