finding out <3

i looked down at the test again to make sure i was seeing 2 lines and sure enough i was. me and vinnie were having a baby. either a little vinnie or a little me. not gonna lie i'm kinda hoping for a mini vinnie but we don't always get what we want.

y: vin!!

within a matter of a few seconds i heard him bursting through the bathroom door acting like someone was dying.

v: what happened? panting as he just ran up the stairs
y: look

i handed him the test, his eyes widen and jaw dropped

v: are you actually pregnant or are you just fucking with me?
y: i'm pregnant! we're having a babyyyyy

i jumped up on him and he grabbed my waist as i wrapped my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck tears brimming my eyes

v: i- i can't believe it... we're having a baby
v: finally after a year and a half of trying we have a baby
y: i know i said tears spilling out of my eyes

first ultrasound <3

y: ready babe?

today we were getting our first ultrasound done and we got to see the baby for the first time as well as hear the heart beat, find out our due date and when we get to find out the gender

v: yeah let's go

skip car ride

doctor: y/n levine

i grabbed vinnies hand and we followed the lady to the back and sat on the little table as vinnie sat in the chair next to me. the lady placed the cold gel on my stomach and started swirling it around my stomach

doctor: there's your baby she said looking at the screen

i started to get teary eyed and i turned to look at vinnie to see him the exact same way

doctor: would you like to hear the heartbeat?
v: yes please

she pulled up the heart rate on the tv screen and we heard it and he or she was perfectly healthy and had a nice heart rate.

doctor: so your due date is september 19th and you can find out the gender in about 6 weeks at your 12 week appointment.
y: okay thank you
doctor: of course, here are the pictures and congrats you guys!
v: thank you!

gender reveal <3

today was the day of our gender reveal and the only people that knew were jordan and reggie. vinnie has been begging them to know for like 2 weeks and would call reggie at random parts in the middle of the night to ask him. reggie and his parents were flying in from seattle today to find out the gender.

jordan: morning guys he said coming downstairs into the kitchen
y: morning j
v: what's the gender?
jordan: you'll find out soon enough
y: finally, your not even the one bugging me and it's annoying me
v: well sorry for being excited

few hours later

everyone was here and reggie was bringing out the ballon for us to pop (i know real original)

reggie: y'all ready?
vinnie: is that even a question? he questioned putting his hands on his hips making everyone laugh
reggie: okay, okay just making sure
reggie: here are the push pins

i grabbed one and vin grabbed one and we were ready to find out the gender of our baby .

jordan: okay on 1 your gonna pop it and the either blue or pink confetti will come out
y: okay
everyone: 3...2...1
