sage's pov

me and my boyfriend adam have been together for almost 2 years and lately i've started to feel off. i've been throwing up a lot, constant headaches and i'm 3 weeks late on my period. adam thinks i'm pregnant and he's excited at the thought but the only problem is we're only 16. i know my parents were 16 when they got pregnant with me but if the test came out positive i don't know how they would react. adam texted me earlier he was coming over so now i was patiently waiting for him.

a: hey love, i brought you some things.
s: hey babe. what did you bring.
a: look he said as he handed me the bag

chocolate, ibuprofen, vitamin water, my favorite chips and a pregnancy test.

s: what is this for? i ask holding up the pregnancy test
a: please just take it. you've been feeling sick and i wanna get to the bottom of it. he says coming over and wrapping his arms around my waist
s: and if it's positive how are my parents going to react?
a: we can worry about that later i just want to find out if i'm gonna be a dad or not. he mumbles into my neck
s: fine i sigh

i grab the test and go to the bathroom to take it. i wait 5 minutes after taking it and nervously flip it over. there were 2 tests in the box so i flip both of them over at the same time.

they're both positive. i'm pregnant. i'm nervous but kind of excited and i know adam is going to be excited.

s: sooo do you want a boy or a girl? i ask adam as i go over to sit in his lap
a: it's positive? he asks as he smiles
s: it's positive. i tell him returning the smile

3 days later

today i was finally going to tell my parents i was pregnant. they've noticed i've been feeling off the past few days but i've brushed it off and told them i was getting my period. i knew i wasn't going to play it off any longer so i told adam to come over so we could tell them. 15 minutes after i texted him he finally was here.

a: you ready?
s: no i chuckled
a: c'mon love

my parents were sitting on the couch watching a movie while we came and sat down next to them

s: um mom dad can we talk to you really quick
v: sure what's up
s: please don't kick me out or give me a lecture after i tell you this
y: i promise we won't. tell us
s: umm i'm pregnant i say quietly
v: are you serious?
a: yeah he tells them handing them the pregnancy test
y: congrats sweetheart my mom says giving us a hug
v: SAGE YOU ARE FUCKING 16 YEARS OLD! WHAT THE FUCK HAVE I TOLD YOU ABOUT BEING SAFE WHEN IT COMES TO HAVING SEX!?
y: vinnie calm down
v: AND YOU he yells looking at adam YOU GOT MY DAUGHTER PREGNANT!? I TRUSTED YOU.
y: vinnie stop. sage and adam go upstairs while i talk to vinnie.

adam takes me upstairs and i'm sobbing.

s: i knew he was going to react this way i continue to cry
a: shhh baby it's ok
s: what if he never talks to me again
a: love i'm sure he won't stop talking to you. you're his first born and his only girl.
s: yeah but he wouldn't react like this with my brothers
a: love you're his only girl he wants to protect you so obviously he was going to have a different reaction. ok? c'mon let's go cuddle and go to sleep
s: ok i responded back to him as tears still ran down my face
a: stop crying angel. don't wanna see my pretty girl crying anymore. he tells me as he wipes my tears

we both lay down and cuddle and he plays with my hair as we both fall asleep

y/n's pov

y: VINNIE WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?
v: SHES 16 AND PREGNANT HOW THE FUCK DO YOU WANT ME TO REACT?
y: VINNIE WE WERE ALSO 16 WHEN WE GOT PREGNANT WITH HER. THE POOR GIRL IS SCARED AND YOU ARE OVER HERE YELLING AT HER.

i go upstairs to check on sage and see her and adam are sleeping

y: they're sleeping right now but as soon as they wake up you're apologizing to both of them.
v: ok he whispers with his head down

i go back upstairs to our room and watch a movie as i wait for them to wake up

2 hours later ; vinnies pov

i go upstairs to see if adam and sage are awake and i see them cuddling on the bed awake watching tv. i knock on the door to announce my presence and ask if i can come in.

v: can i come in
s: sure
v: i'm sorry. i know me and your mom were 16 when we got pregnant with you and we were just as scared as you guys are. you're my first born and my only girl and i want to protect you and now that you're pregnant i want to protect my grandkid also
s: thanks dad she says hugging me
v: and you i look at adam don't hurt her or my grandkid
a: i won't, i love them a lot

i see y/n at the door and she walks in sitting next to us.

s: group hug!

we all hug each other and i'm so happy we can all be a happy family and me and y/n are so excited for this new addition to our family.
