So you know how you're in the grade above me which means you're gonna be graduating a year before me?

I was just wondering what's gonna happen to us when you graduate and I still have to go to school?

I know you applied to universities, but I'm not sure where and I don't want to hold you back while I'm still stuck in school. I want you to be able to go to uni and get the job you want, but, I don't know...

Haz, even if you're still in school, I'm still gonna go to uni. Don't worry about holding me back or anything. My uni is in Brighton so there's only going to be an hour long train ride between us. I know it seems like a lot, but I'm keeping my apartment in London so I can come back over weekends and my course is only a year long and then I can do an apprenticeship which I can live anywhere for

But what about later on? By the time I graduate, you'll already want to start your adult life. I'm not even seventeen yet. I want to go to uni too but if you want to stay with me for that long, I'm still gonna be going to school and stuff when you get a job and can do adult stuff

First of all, it doesn't matter that you're still sixteen. Your birthday is in two months, meaning you'll be seventeen before I even start uni. By the time I finish uni, you'll legally be an adult too, so you can do all that 'adult stuff' too. Second of all, of course I want to stay with you for that long. I would stay with you for the rest of my life if I could, but that would be up to you. The only reason I would ever leave you is if you wanted me to. And third of all, even if you are still in school or uni, that's not gonna hold me back. We can have our own lives while still sharing parts of it. Please don't worry about this, because there's going to be hard times and easier times, but I know we will figure it out.

I don't really know what's going to happen in the future, but I want you to know that I'll always try. I'll always try to help you when you need it, comfort you when you feel down, spend time with you whether it's over a video call or in person, and I'll always be here to talk or listen to you and what you have to say.
