Temporary becomes permanent (Taekook)

Dinner*

The couple got into their car and drove over to Namjoon and Jin's house.

The evening was quiet, and there was little traffic, so they arrived on time, they thought.

Jungkook first exited the vehicle to assist Taehyung with Hanuel.

After being in the car for several hours, their little boy was becoming cranky.

Jungkook's vacant hand made its way to Taehyung's waist as the duo made their way to the door.

Everyone was already at Namjin's house, asking where the newlyweds were.

When they heard the doorbell, they came to a halt in their bickering.

"They seem to have arrived!"

Jin shrieked with delight at the prospect of interacting with Hanuel.

Namjoon smiles as he reaches the door and sees them standing there.

"Please enter."

He murmured softly, ushering them inside.

Taehyung acknowledges the gesture with a smile.

Because Hanuel is in Jungkook's arm, he gives him a side hug.

"How is this little man doing?"

He inquired, his gaze fixed on the baby.

"Thank you for asking, he's doing great."

Taehyung mumbled softly, his cheeks flushed.

Namjoon laughs and says, "Don't worry."

They all walked into the living room to see everyone was there.

"Hey, Tae!"

Lisa screamed and dashed over to gives him a hug.

"What's the matter with you being so late?"

She inquired as she awaited his response.

Taehyung turns over to Jungkook, who was already staring at him when she asked the question.

As he realized he was supposed to answer Lisa's question, he blushed even more.

"Oh, I see, there's no need to respond. It appears that my brother has held you back."

Her voice was as taunting as ever, leading the entire room to burst out laughing, except for Jungkook.

He just stared at a flustered Taehyung.

"All right, enough teasing."

As he walked over to Jungkook, Jin said.

"Can I take him in my arms?"

He was addressing Hanuel, who appeared to be in his own universe.

"Sure."

He promises he'll raise Hanuel's body, but as he tries to hand him over, the small kid sobs wanting to stay in his father's arms.

Taehyung runs up to the scene, attempting to soothe Hanuel, but is stopped by Jungkook.

He reassured Taehyung that he would be fine.

"I apologize, Jin Hyung; he's been grumpy since the car ride."

In a compassionate tone, Taehyung told him.

"No, sweety, it's all right."

As Jungkook returned with Hanuel in his arms, they all gathered at the dining table.

"What a wonderful father he is."

Hoseok made a remark that was well embraced by all.

They continued eating in silence after everything had been settled, with occasional jokes.

Taehyung, Jin, Army, and Lisa had huddled at the far end of the dining room as dinner had ended.

They were so engrossed in their chat that they didn't see their lover's affectionate glances from time to time.

"So, Jungkook, as I already stated, we need to speak."

Hoseok muttered, jolting them out of their stupor.

"Uh, yeah sure."

Even though they were friends, he replied professionally because it was a habit ingrained in him.

"Since the trial is coming up in a few days, I am certain that we will win the case based on the facts we have thus far."

Hoseok responded, glanced towards Jungkook to see his stony expression.

"I wouldn't say that, but let's be prepared," says the Jungkook.

While his eyes collided with Taehyung, he said gently.
