On September 30, 1955, Roy Bryant and JW Milam were acquitted and found not guilty, for the murder of Emmett Till. And what about the kidnapping charge ?
Even though the two men were acquitted they were arrested for the kidnapping of Emmett Till, and later released.
Later in the 80s JW Milam died of cancer , along with Roy Bryant who died of cancer in the 90s.
As for Carolyn Bryant and Juanita Milam they had to raise their children on their own. Before Roy Bryant passed away, he and Mamie Till had a conversation over the phone, and he told her he would do the same thing again, but not only to Emmett Till, but whoever gets in his way. Roy Bryant was a terrible Person, despising the Till slaying, I feel that Roy had done something like this before but to another person.
So maybe this isn't the first time they've done this. That's why Roy was so use to getting away with the Till murder they've probably killed another black child and gotten away with it.
