"uh, Pope, you're driving pretty fast." Sarah warned Pope who sat besides Belle holding onto her arm as he cheered loudly.

"Pope, last to judge, but i think you should slow down just a little." JJ tells him.

"that would definitely delay our arrival to the cross. we gotta get there." Pope quickly said.

"why did we let him drive again?" Kie asked looking back at her friends.

"because i said i'd rip your ears off." Pope answered back.

"because he said he'd rip our ears off." Sarah added.

"i kinda like my ears so i don't wanna get them ripped off." Belle touched her ears.

"you did say you'd rip my ears off." Kie looked at Pope.

"i was joking about that, by the way." Pope says, Belle looked at him with wide eyes giving him a thumbs up.

"that's a really funny joke."

"hey, hey, how ya feeling, buddy? how ya doing?" John B asked tapping Pope's shoulder.

"uh, fantastic. i don't know what JJ's cousin gave me, but i am moving!" Pope motioned his hand around.

"we couldn't tell." Kie nervously said.

"hey, P. you're going really fast and i mean really fast right now," Belle says as Pope turned to look at her, "Pope! eyes on the road!"

"i don't know if you noticed, but there's these giant oak trees all along the side of the road. they're like six inches off the road." John B pointed to the trees as Pope sped up passing a car as another came.

"you don't need to pass. you don't need to pass." Kie shouted as Pope swerved the truck making everyone scream.

"okay! forget my ears, Pope! pull over i'm driving." Belle sat up letting go of Sarah's arm.

"what an asshole, right?" Pope asked Kiara.

"Pope, he's going the speed limit!" Kie answered him.

"we're not gonna get to the cross if we're dead, Pope!" John B informed him.

"we're not gonna die. it's our divine right to get that cross." Pope calmly said turning to his friends again.
