Belle Lively sat in her room quietly reading her new book when JJ Maybank and John B Routledge barged in. she looked over shutting her book, the two boys gave her the look as she smiled and quickly stood up running out the back door, she slipped her t shirt off leaving her in her blue bikini grabbing her surfboard running towards the water.

the boys ran behind her, the three jumped into the water immediately catching a wave. this was the one of many things they've bonded over, ever since they met they've always hit the water after school and surfed for hours until Big John and Zale Lively had to pull the three out of the ocean. but a lot has changed over the years, they met Pope Heyward and Kiara Carrera immediately inviting them to their friend group and all got close and became a family, literally.

the three teens surfed for hours until Zale Lively walked out calling for the three to go inside. laughing they all reached shore setting their surfboards on the side of Belle's house, she grabbed the towels her brother left on the outside couch handing two of them to the boys. Belle wrapped her towel around her shoulders and sat on the couch pulling her legs up to her chest.

"i'll see you guys later, i gotta go deal with DCS." John B announced drying his hair.

"shit, good luck with that." JJ said sitting next to Belle resting his arm behind her head.

"they're not gonna take you are they?" Belle asked leaning her head back.

"not on my watch, Bells." John B winked at her, she laughed as he tossed her the towel heading out.

JJ turned his head to Belle as she did the same to him, he smiled at her moving some hair away from her face.

"you sleeping over tonight?" she asked hugging the towel wrapped around her.

"can i? i'm not tryin' to go back home and John B works tonight." Belle hated JJ's living situation, well more like the other man that lived in that house also.

"yeah, let me go tell Zale." Belle stood up holding her towel walking inside.

Belle looked around then moving over to the kitchen to see her brother making dinner which was something easy, they didn't have much money. with her brother being in college, and making very little money with small jobs he gets he tries to save enough money for the both of them. Belle helps out with money but Zale doesn't know, Kiara actually helped her get a job at The Wreck, regardless of what her brother says she will still find a way to help get money for the both of them.

"Z? is it okay if JJ spends the night? John B's working tonight and JJ doesn't wanna go home." the small brunette asked her brother, the tall blonde turned around to look at his little sister.

"is he gonna sleep on the floor?" he asked raising his eyebrow, furrowing her brows she turned her head slightly to the side.

"seriously?" the brunette asked, he laughed grabbing three plates showing one to her.

"get him inside, get cleaned up and ready for dinner." Zale told her, she smiled rushing out letting JJ know he could spend the night.

Zale Lively. the twenty year old never thought he'd be taking care of his little sister at such a young age, nobody knows where their parents ran off too, but they do know that growing up, Zale had to work just to feed and care for Belle. luckily for them Big John Routledge and John B always helped the two when they needed it the most, ever since Big John went missing Zale has taken care of John B like he was his brother.

even though things may be rough for the Pogues, they were always there for each other no matter what. regardless of what happens, they were a family and will always be a family to each other.

then there was Belle Lively, the seventeen year old girl who was close with John B Routledge and JJ Maybank. her two best friends since the third grade, the three have never spent a day apart, from multiple sleep overs in either John B's house or Belle's, to getting suspended together one time at school, surfing all day and driving the HMS Pogue. when the three aren't together they're always with Pope Heyward and Kiara Carrera, their other two best friends.

Belle is glad Kiara is in their friend group so she isn't the only girl around the four boys, she met Kiara in 8th grade one day at the beach, the two bonded over surfing and immediately clicked. aside from the girls bonding over the waves and working at The Wreck, Kiara would always invite Belle to spend nights at her house when her brother leaves to the mainland for jobs and school so she never spent a second alone.

then there was Pope, Belle basically goes to Pope for anything, he helps her a lot and gives her advice. it may not be good advice but Pope try's his best to, his father always gives Belle and Zale a job to deliver groceries to Figure Eight when they really need the money, like her job at The Wreck, Belle always asks Heyward for a little extra help to save up some money.

John B was like her brother, ever since the day the Lively's moved in a few houses down from the Château, he ran down over to the small house to greet the his new neighbors. when he saw the little girl he smiled running over to her introducing himself and offered to show her around the small island.

and then there was JJ, once he saw her the day she moved in he instantly gained a crush on her. since then they've never spent a second apart, growing up with JJ since the third grade was always an adventure. whenever he slept at John B's he'd always run over to her window and wake her up to go surfing or to just hang out at the Château, but he'd always make sure to sneak her back inside to her room so she wouldn't get in trouble. the two had a different bond compared to the others, always together and would sneak out together when they were alone or when they were with the Pogues.
