Hand in hand ; 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐡 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐦𝐬𝐨𝐧

Chapter 8 ❥

It had been weeks since the press conference, weeks since I had spoken to alexia, weeks since I had lost someone who I thought was going to be my best friends forever but it was only days until the match between Barcelona and arsenal and I would be forced to see her again

Leah had stayed at my apartment for 2 days when I had my breakdown I didn't want her to leave and she never minded, at first I used Leah as a fill in for alexia but now I just saw her as Leah and while are relationship is similar to how mine and alexia's was I no longer used Leah to fill a space that should've been filled by someone else, things were different

Today was the day we would be flying to Barcelona seeing as the match was hosted at there stadium and once we got there we would have 2 days until the match

We had an evening flight to Barcelona so we could arrive in Spain then get a good rest before training started

I had Just finished packing my suitcase while getting dressed into some comfier clothes seeing we were going to be on a plane for a few hours making sure to throw on my arsenal jacket , I was determined not to be late so I quickly grabbed all my stuff and made my way to the airport where my team would be waiting for me

I pulled up to airport and got out of my car to get my suitcase from my back seat and when I got close enough to the airport I was met with a wave of cameras, the paparazzi was always a problem for me when I was in Spain wherever I went there would be a camera shoved in my face that was definitely something I was not looking forward to when I arrived back in Spain

I made my way past the paparazzi making sure to keep my head down and quickly found my team all sat in the lobby and when I made my way over they all looked up in acknowledgement and greeted me

"Your not late for once" Katie said jokingly, throughout my time in arsenal me and Katie had found are selves to be really good friends as we shared a similar sense of humour

"I'm never late, I don't know what your talking about" I said also joking

"Still managed to be the last one to arrive tho" lia said smirking

"What Is this everyone gang up on Arabella day" I said pretending to be offended which caused a few girls to laugh

"Ok girls we need to start boarding now has Arabella arrived" Jonas said walking over

"Yes I'm here" I said

"Ok good let's go"

We all boarded the plane and I took a seat next to Leah as I normally did, it became a sort of unspoken rule that me and Leah sat next to each other all time, if me and the girls were going out to a restaurant for example even if i was late there would always be an empty seat next to Leah

"Are you excited to be going back to Spain" Leah said turning to look at me

"I think I'd be more excited if things were normal but nothings really that normal anymore"

" do you think you're going to speak to her at any point" she asked

"Alexia's a reasonable person do I forgive her for what she said no, but I'm willing to hear her out because I still feel as though there's things we need to discuss about what she said" I said honestly

"Yea I understand but I don't want her to get in your head, I know you don't want to discuss it but I don't want to see you as upset you were that day again" Leah said putting her hand on mine comfortingly

I took a deep breath before answering "I know, I don't want to ever feel like that again but I think seeing alexia in person will be better so we can actually talk" alexia had called me countless times since the conference but I had declined every call so I wasn't too sure how are conversations would go when I was in Spain
