Hand in hand ; 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐡 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐦𝐬𝐨𝐧

Chapter 10 ❥

Today was the last day in Barcelona i had one conference lined up to discuss the match results it was going to be bittersweet talking about a win against my old team but it was liberating in a way that I have the skills to win on any team I play for and after the conference we had pretty much the whole day to spend in Barcelona before we had to catch the flight back to London

It was currently 9:30 and the conference was in half an hour

"Do you think I should leave my hair down or put it up" I asked Leah who was sat on her bed on her phone

"Umm" she said looking up at me "I think down it looks nice curly"

"Ok thanks" I said turning back to look at myself in the mirror but in the reflection I saw Leah still looking at me

"What" I giggled

"Nothing" she said coyly

I rolled my eyes jokingly, sometimes I questioned what we were, we definitely weren't just friends people could see that but it was different actually being in the situation

"Are you gonna watch the conference" i asked while putting on some makeup

"Yea is it live" Leah questioned

"Yea it's live" I answered

"Yea I'll watch it, are u gonna be ok with it seeing as it's gonna be u and Alexia doing the conference"

"I mean It's fine obviously it's bittersweet but me and alexia are on good terms so it shouldn't be that bad" I shrugged

"Yea I guess, after you've finished are u gonna come into Barcelona all the girls are" Leah asked

"Yea of course but I'll have to quickly get changed" I said

"that's fine we'll wait for you"

"Thanks the conferences isn't that long anyway" I said finishing my makeup "and speaking of conference it's in 10 minutes and I don't want to be late so I really gotta go"

"Ok we'll probably be waiting in the lobby, good luck" Leah said

"Thank you bye Leah" I said rushing out the room

I got to the lobby where management we're waiting to escort me to the conference room

It was the same room as last time and I was quickly ushered in seeing as it was about to start, I saw alexia already sat in her spot, I offered her a smile which she happily returned  and then a second later the conference started

"Ok I just want to start by saying a big well done to you Arabella for your win with arsenal and for the fact u scored both goals against Barcelona" the first reporter said

"Thank you it was a close game throughout but I'm glad I got to show my abilities in such an important game on a new team" I replied

"Arabella as you know Chelsea have recently beat Real Madrid 2-1, do you think your team will be able to get the upper hand over them in the final" a different reporter asked

"Chelsea are a very good team and a hard one to beat but I have confidence in myself and the teams ability to win no matter what" I said confidently

The reporter nodded in acknowledgment of what I said before the focus was shifted to alexia

"Alexia, Barca did play an amazing game but ultimately lost during extra time how is the team going to re group from this loss" one reporter asked

"As Arabella said the game was close throughout and while it was quite a sore loss I'm happy with how we played as a team and we're going to put in the work to get back to winning in games to come" alexia said confidently
