Saturday Mornings | Oliver Wood

Saturday mornings were always my favourite. I still had most of the weekend to look forwards to, relaxing in the common room or going for a swim with my friends, but I especially enjoyed waking up to the most heartwarming sight ever.
As my eyes fluttered open and I wriggled around in my bed, I noticed a body next to mine. It took my eyes a few minutes to adjust, but when they did, I was greeted by the sight of my sleeping boyfriend.

Oliver's mouth was slightly open, dressed in a plain white shirt and boxers with his hair messy. My fingers found their way to his forehead, gently brushing away a few strands, then continuing to run my fingers through his curls. "Gorgeous." The comment escaped my lips in a mere whisper as I surveyed the sleeping boy before me.

I don't know for how long I sat there, it felt like hours, but it might aswell have been only 30 minutes when Oliver's eyes began fluttering open. "Oh, you're awake!" I smiled, pressing a soft kiss against his temple, then on his lips. He hummed in response, pulling me back in for a longer kiss.
I giggled when we pulled apart again, his arms wrapping around my waist and laying me down on his chest. A sigh issued from both our lips— breathing in his familiar scent I couldn't help but press another peck to his lips. "I love you." His voice was barely above a whisper and I nearly didn't catch his words, but as soon as he had issued them, I returned the favour. "I love you more."
He grinned playfully, cradling me closer to him, continuing to cuddle me as the day crept by.

This was (once again) shorter than usual, but I'm starting to like this length and this was the second update in one day (LET'S GOOO).
