Part 4

One month later....

Work has been very hectic for both Sammy and Nina, but Nina has more on her side giving the fact that she has the twins.

Every time the twins came to the office after kindergarten, they will play around and the workers and team also loved the twins because of how respectful they are.

They met with Sammy a few times and every time they met, Sammy felt relieved in his heart about something and he felt so comfortable around the twins.

It's Friday and the deal has finally been sealed as well as AriLens is officially a partner with CYV.

While everyone is in the conference room, the twins are outside, playing. Sammy went outside for some fresh air as he felt his chest suddenly tight,

"Craig! Mummy said you should have your asthma spray with you" Cara said running with the spray can in her hand.

Sammy who was on the other side turned and looked at the both of them and he suddenly felt strange, so he walks to them.

"Hi Mr Salvador" the twins greeted and he nodded, "are you having fun?" He asked them and they nodded, "but mummy says I shouldn't run around too much or else it will get hard for me to breath" Craig said as he placed his spray in his little bag,

"Craig, are you sad you can't run around too much?" Sammy asks, "sometimes I am sad, but not all the time because mummy said only few people have asthma and people who have asthma are very gifted so I'm not sad because I know I'm gifted" Craig spoke which made Sammy feel a twist in his chest,

"We are indeed gifted and special" Sammy said rubbing Craig's hair, "Craig, Cara, do you know when your birthday is?" Sammy suddenly asked as he started having some doubts of something,

On the other hand, Nina who has been standing behind the pillar listening to their conversation was slowly sobbing as she couldn't understand why her life and that of her kids where about to take a turn,

When she heard the sudden question asked from Sammy, she quickly ran to her kids and held their hands,

"It's time for your nap, come on" Nina said as she was about to walk away with them but Sammy stopped her, "Nina," Sammy called her name making her halt in her steps as well as the twins,

"Are you hiding something from me?" Sammy suddenly asks, Nina turned around to face him and shook her head,

"Why would I?" Nina asks back as she felt her heart suddenly beat very fast, "how old are they?" Sammy suddenly asks which makes Nina quickly think of a lie,

"Three years old" she tried to lie, "mum we are not three we are fo.." Cara was about to speak but Nina quickly covered her mouth,

"Did you guys forget your birthday? You are three can't you remember?" Nina still lies and the twins looked at themselves in confusion because they remember celebrating their fourth birthday five months ago.

Sammy looked at Nina like he knew she was lying but he didn't question her anymore, "Nina please" he suddenly pleaded in a strained voice,

"If you are wondering or thinking they are yours, they aren't Samuel, you don't have to worry" was all Nina said before finally walking away.

The moment she got into her office, she put the twins for a nap and she sat in her office chair and started sobbing with tears running down her eyes as she starts to realize in the past she also hurt Sammy.

Suddenly, there was a knock on her door, "it's open" Nina said as she quickly wiped her tears away,

The door opened and it was her best friend, Jose, "babes" Jose said as she walked into the office with her three year old daughter Maja.
