But that shadow has been serving you!
What hurts you blesses you.
Darkness is your candle.
Your boundaries are your quest.
You must have a shadow and light source.
Listen, and lay your head under the tree of awe. ~Rumi

Anfal began to proceed with her work and avoided the almighty Zarrar's presence in the kitchen deliberately as the moments passed by a few minutes kept flashing before her eyes. Zarrar observed her shoulders were tense in a nervous manner, and he smiled, seeing the effect he had on her.

Zarrar stepped closer until his front hit her back, making her breath strangled in her throat at his sudden proximity.

"Intezar rahega aap ka humein." He whispered huskily in her ears and placed a delicate kiss on her shoulder, causing her to shiver when his lips met her skin.

Anfal closed her eyes and rubbed her forehead as a small smile graced her face.

"Thank you, Allah, gee,"

It's just a snippet from where the last chapter ended

In the realm of love, it is often said that when two souls are deeply connected, the universe aligns itself to bring them together. Anfal and Zarrar's affectionate bond is a perfect example of this cosmic phenomenon. Their love story braved numerous challenges, and yet, it emerged victorious in the end. Their unwavering commitment to each other and the strength of their love is nothing short of awe-inspiring. It's a tale of love that captures the very essence of the human spirit - resilient, enduring, and boundless.

Anfal had always believed that the power of love was unstoppable. And finally, after what seemed like an eternity, her prayers had been answered. As the couple sat down for dinner, the air was filled with an electric energy that sparked between them. Zarrar couldn't keep his eyes off his beloved wife, and he made sure to tease her every chance he got. Anfal's face turned beet-red as Zarrar playfully bumped his knee against hers or placed his hand on her thigh. The tension between them was palpable, and it was clear that they were both enjoying every moment of it. It was a night that neither of them would ever forget.

As he leaned down to pick a piece of chicken from her plate, she couldn't help but feel a sudden rush of excitement. Her heart skipped a beat as she felt his breath on her neck, causing numerous butterflies to flutter in her stomach. She couldn't explain the inexplicable feeling that washed over her as he straightened his back and gave her a piercing look that sent shivers down her spine. After wiping his lips with a napkin, he left, leaving her in a state of bewilderment.

She knew she was in trouble today. The fluttering in her stomach intensified as she collected all the utensils and took them to the kitchen. Although she knew it would infuriate him, she kept herself busy in the kitchen, hoping to calm her nerves. As she washed the plates, she began drying them with a kitchen towel, all the while a shy smile graced her lips. She couldn't help but replay the moment in her head, wondering what he was thinking when he looked at her like that.

Just as she placed the last plate on the rack, she turned around only to gasp at the sight of him leaning against the doorframe. He looked effortlessly handsome with his left hand inside his trouser's pocket while the other hand ruffled his brown hair that had fallen on his forehead. A small smile graced his face as he raised an eyebrow, silently asking her about the delay. The way he looked at her made her heart race, and she felt a sudden urge to reach out and touch him.

She placed the kitchen towel on the chair and nervously tucked the stubborn locks of hers behind her ear that had escaped her loose braid. She tried to look composed, but her heart was beating so fast that she was sure he could hear it. She wondered what he wanted from her and whether he felt the same way she did.
