Part-1.
It was a sunny day. As usual maya and Angela went to the magic woods to collect some herbs and woods since winter is about to start they had to stock the woods and medicine.
"I heard Alice is 7 now. It means she can join us right?" Maya said taking the bundle of wood pieces and sticks she collected.
"Oh my, kids grow fast. Yeah, you are right she can come as long as she wants to.. " Angela says.
"She will come. She is my friend, she will love to." Maya says." Are you done or not?" Maya asked Angela, who was looking at a small plant.
"Yes, just a moment young lady."
Angela stand up from the ground, taking her basket, she said " so what does she think she wants to be?"
Angela works for a school who taught how to use magic and spells, every village has a school made by the government, Every kid in the village goes to the school for early education on the magic and later on they can go to university of magic which is located in Royal Cities.
" I don't know," Maya says, smiling..
"You seem very happy, is something special today?, I think I forgot." Angela acts as she is trying to remember something.
" You forgot? today is our birthday. We are going to be 10 and D is gonna be 15." Maya stopped to tell her.. the disappointment and saddeness was clearly on her face..
"Ohh my, I totally forgot about that." Angela says bumping her head with her palm.
"Sorry sweetheart." She apologies.
"No.." maya says " you really forgot?" She was on the verge of cry.
"My little angel, " she sits to match Maya's height.
" If I don't remember your birthday how come I made a blueberry pie in the morning.. which we are going to eat after dinner." She says patting maya's head.
" yeah!!!!!" Maya shoute, "I love you."
"Aww, I love you too". Angela says.
The village was not far but they have to cross many houses to get to theirs. After crossing the dirt track, their house came in view.
"Noah and Jameson must be inside. I don't know where D went tho." Maya said. She was the only girl besides Angela in the house..
"His work started today. He talked with Mr.Wood yesterday and he said, D can join them , so he started from today. " Angela said.
"Oh yeah, I remember he said that. Working must be tough, huh." Maya says.
"If you love your work then, No. It's not." Angela said.
"I don't like to work. I have a plan already for my future." She says proudly.
"Oh and what is that?" Angela asks.
" I have made a plan to marry a handsome guy who is very wealthy." Maya says.
Angela laugh hearing her say that.
" Why are you laughing?" Maya ask angrly.
"No, it's nothing." Angela brushes off and say "we are here. Let's see what are they doing."
The house wasn't very luxurious but it was a house enough for them to sleep and live.. cracks on the walls in the living room, a bedroom where everyone sleeps, a kitchen and a toilet.
Kitchen was small, even for two people to stand there. Since all of them were still kids Angela was the only one to mostly enter the kitchen and cook.
"We are back" Angela calls, she looks around the living room to see anyone, but the living room was empty.
She moves to put the basket full of herbs on the dining table which was in the living room.
"I am leaving these here" she puts the bundle of woods she had been carrying next to the fire place.
