"Congratulations Noah, I heard you are an elemental type.", Alex said.
"Thank you sir." Noah smiled.

Alex called him, to assign his first mission.
That's what hafsa said to him.

"I assume you are ready for the mission." He said.

Noah had been waiting for this opportunity for so long, and something he wanted to do.

"Yes sir." He said.
"Well then," Alex puts his hands on the table.
"I assign you, your first mission."

Finally. It's happening.
Noah thought he should say this before Alex.

"Sir," Noah said.
"Yes,"
"Can I ask for a mission myself."

Alex looked a little confused.
"What does that mean?"

"Can I choose the mission myself?" Noah asked.
Now Alex must have realised what he meant.

"You want to work on the Arden case, don't you?" He asked.

Noah nods.

Alex said nothing on it, he just stands up and walks to the window.
Tension started building inside Noah.

"If it's no, then it's alright sir." He said.
No it wasn't. He wanted to go deep into the case, Knowing everything that happened..

"It's not a rejection Noah.", Alex said.
Slowly turning around.

"Are you ready for it?", with dead serious look on his face.. but the eyes holding the concern for him.

"You'll find many things. And by that I mean many worst secrets.. horrible..",
"Some will be enough to break you.."
Alex walked up to him.

Putting his hands on Noah's shoulder.

" Are you ready for the pain that village is going to cause you?, are you ready to suffer... Can you handle that?",
Alex cared for Noah.. his words, his eyes, shows everything..

This same eyes he remembered, Angela had.
She too used to care for him. Love him.
Why did she have to die?

"I can sir. Please it's a request.", Noah said..

"Ok, then, Noah. If you have decided." Alex pats his shoulders..

Noah gave him a smile.

"I heard someone new joined our team.", a girl said, tying her curly hair in a high pony..

"Really?,", a boy said without looking up from his book.

"I heard Chief wanted him in captain's team."
Another boy, holding a bag..

"A guy?," the girl surprisingly turning around,
"Well, whatever, I hope he is not like you two." She said.

Both the boys chuckled.

Three members of Kevin's team.
Kavya, Lucas and Benjamin.

They live on the second military base of revolutionary army.

"When will be captain Kevin coming?", Lucas asked, mostly Benjamin knows everything about Kevin.

"In any minute now." Ben said..

Kavya puts her mascara, and looks up in the mirror one last time.
Hair done, makeup done, her best clothes on..
