Sukuna was walking through the halls of his house (mansion) when he overheard his father talking to his friend so he stopped and listened...
He felt heartbroken knowing it took him this long to realize his only "true" friend was being payed to stay by his side, that his father controlled who he meet.
He then heard his mother, he turned around and looked at his mother and she said the exact same words she always said, that's when he realized... they were rehearsed she was controlling what he had, what he touched, what he did.
