The next morning, us 3 were in the bio lab helping restock boxes. "They bulldozed a sacred site on purpose, to get a response. They're starting this war to get what they want." Grace mumbled.

"I still cant belive it." Norm said.

"Thats just how they are. When people are sitting on something you want, you turn them into an enemy." I stated. "They'll do anything to get what they want."

Befrore we continued to talk, Trudy came running into the lab. She was breathless and fully prepared into a flying uniform.

"They're rolling the gunships. They're going to hit the hometree!" She exclaimed.

"What?!" Norman said.

I quickly shared a look with all of them before standing up. "When?"

"Now! We're spooling up now. I gotta go." She exited the bio lab.

"My God.." Grace gasped.

"We've gotta do something." Norman said.

"Come on!" I added, as I ran out of the room with the 2 following. We went to the ops centre. I couldnt let them do this. We burst into the room, seeing Max standing by the window, watching the gunships prepare to go shoot down the tree

"Parker, stop! Please, these are people you're about to-" Grace said but he stopped her.

"They're fly-bitten savages who live in a tree. They can move." He rolled his eyes.

"You can't do this!" She continued.

"There are children in there! Babies?!" I yelled.

"Look around, there are a lot of trees where they can move." He continued.

"Look, Max, you're about to murder a whole population of Navi." I continued. "You dont want that kind of blood on your hands. Do you?"

He sighed. "What's on your mind then?"

"They trust us. Let me talk to them." I said.

"Fine." He put his hands in the air. "Let's get you linked."

Grace and I went to our link units, and aujusted ourselves. Before I could close the hood on my link, Max came over to me. "You've got one hour." With that. he closed me up.

When I woke up in my avatar body, I noticed Kiri and Loak by my side. Kiri's eys lit up when she saw me awake. "Y/n!"

I looked over at Grace, and started walking out the hut. "Where are you going?" Loak asked, but I just ignored him.

We made our way to Neytiri and Jake. We went to the bottom of the tree, and noticed the whole clan was already there. Neytiri and Jake watched us confused, as we approached them.

"Y/n!" Neteyam came to me and hugged me, but I pulled away.

"I'm sorry.." I whispered. "Neytiri, I see you. Jake." I greeted them.

"What is it Y/n?" Jake asked.

"The sky people." I said. "They are coming to destroy the hometree." Gasps and murmurs were heard amongst the crowd.

"Are you certain of this?" Neytiri asked.

"Yes! You have to leave or you will die.." I explained. There was silence for a moment.

"Did you know this would happen?" Jake asked.

I kept quiet, and looked over at Grace. She couldnt look at them in the eye. "They sent me here to learn about you, so I could gain your trust, and tell you when this happens."

Neteyam came from my side. "What are you saying Y/n? You knew this would happen?" There was pain in his voice.

I lowered my ears, and grabbed his hands. "I'm sorry.."

He looked at me, with anger and betreyal filled on his face. He slowly stepped back, getting out of my grasp. "I trusted you."

"Neteyam, please-" I tried to approach him, but he pushed me away.

"I mated with you! I called you my very own, and you do this?!" He yelled at me, and I started sobbing. "DONT! Do not cry. I am the one who should cry. Not you." He spat.

"Neteyam, she had no control over this." Grace said.

"You do not speak!" Neteyam said.

"Dude, let them speak!" Kiri said approaching us.

"For real." Loak added.

He got quiet. I tried to aproach him, but he stepped back. I decided to give him space.

"I never wanted things to turn out the way they did. I never wanted to hurt you, or the people. I didn't think I would fall in love with this place, and with you.." I put my hand on his cheek, but he pushed it away. "How could I tell you?"

"I loved you Y/n. I fought against the way of the clan to be with you. I gave up the ole'eyktan role for you." He started tearing up. "How could you?"

"You said it wouldn't be my fau-"

"Well it is!" He yelled making me step back.

I tried to take his hand but he pulled them away. "I love you, either way." I said.

"Get out of my face." He turned his back.

"But Nete-"

"YOU will NEVER be one of the people!" He put his finger in my face. "You will always be one of them. " Just like I stabbed him in the back with my actions, he stabbed me in the heart with those words.

He gave me one last look, before walking away with his siblings. I stood there quietly, before Na'yori approached us. "Blind them" She spoke to the hunters.

As they tied our hands, neither of us tried to resist. There was no use at this point. We knew this day would come, and we dont blame them one bit.

They took us, and tied us down to a tree. We couldn't do anything at this point. The one hour is going to pass, and the tree will get shot down.
