When the night of the talent show came, I had a huge stage track and I wasn't even going to be dancing on the stage. I just had a feeling that something was going to be wrong that night. I don't know what, but something felt weird. I looked at the girls who were getting ready, but everything seemed fine. So then I went and peeked out the curtains to look at the crowd, I saw Minho from afar talking to Dae and I smiled at myself. But my smile immediately dropped when I noticed someone else in the crowd. At first, I thought that I was seeing things because of how anxious I was, but unfortunately, I wasn't. I saw Patrick with his friends trying to find a seat. What the hell was he doing here? Minho, haven't noticed him yet, but Q did. He whispered something to Florian, but then I heard my name being called by Yuri, and I wasn't able to witness what happened next
Yuri: Y/n are you alright?
She asked me looking worried when music started playing which meant that the show just started. I started breathing heavily, and my hands were shaking like crazy
Y/n: I need Kitty
I said, trying to control the tears that were coming up my eyes
Yuri: Hey it's okay, I am going to find her right now
She said, heading to where the rest of the girls were, and I felt that I wouldn't stand on my feet anymore and fell to the ground. That was when Kitty came and kneeled next to me
Kitty: Hey what happened?
She asked looking at me worried, and I was breathing heavily
Y/n: Patrick...he-
I said and that's when she realized what I was talking about and peak from the curtain to see the crowd and her eyes widened
Kitty:Listen to me, Y/n!
She said sitting down next to me again
Kitty: You always said that music helps you escape into your own reality, right?
She said and I nodded
Kitty:Well, when you will walk to that piano, you are going to forget everything that is happening around you. Forget that Patrick is here and just enjoy the moment because that is what actually matters! Will you do that for me and most importantly for yourself?
She asked, and I nodded, wiping my tears away before she hugged me tight. When the second performance was finished we were next, and I sighed before walking to the piano which was next to the stage. Minho waved at me from the crowd with a smile, and I smiled back at him. Then Yuri gave me a signal to start, and that's what I did. I looked at the girls dancing with a smile on my face, but then noticed that Yuri and Kitty had got into some sort of fight on the stage while dancing. I looked at them confused before Kitty crashed into one of the huge speakers at the side of the stage, making it fall right into the piano. I followed my instinct and immediately fall to the ground, missing the speaker by an inch from falling on my head. Someone came running to me and a familiar voice talked to me
Patrick: Y/n are you okay?
He said, trying to help me up, but I slammed his hand away. Did he really think that, after everything he did, I was going to even say a word to him?
Y/n: Don't you fucking touch me
I said, and I saw Minho coming running to us and pinning Patrick against the wall
Minho: Leave my girlfriend alone, or I swear that you will return home with a black eye
He said, and Patrick laughed
Patrick: I should have known that you guys will be a couple by the time I would get back. But half-American bitches like Y/n are your type anyway!
He said, and Minho pushed him in the face before Alex and Olympe come running to us. Olympe came to help me get up and asked me if I was alright multiple times, while Alex tried to get Minho off Patrick before he could actually commit his murder
Minho: Don't you ever come near her again
He said, and Patrick just walked away without saying a word and wiping the blood from his nose. Minho immediately came towards me and I hugged him tight.
Minho: Are you hurt?
He whispered to me and I nodded negatively
Minho: No because if you are, we can just go to the nurse's office
He said looking worried at me and I nodded negatively again with a smile
Y/n: I am okay, but you should put ice at that black eye
I said in a low voice, touching his eye and rubbing it softly
Y/n: Thank you, my bodyguard, aka boyfriend
He smiled before he kissed me and then hugged me again. Later I learned from Alex that Patrick was proven innocent because his father paid the judge, and he was suspended from school. But they let him finish this semester first. The winter break was starting in two weeks, so I think I could handle it. I went to my dorm to find Kitty sitting and talking to someone on the phone before she hung up and look at me
Kitty: Can we talk?
She asked, and I nodded before going to sit next to her
Y/n: What's wrong?
I asked looking at the tears in her eyes and she looked at the floor
Kitty: I think I have feelings for Yuri
She said, and I looked at her in shock for a minute before I smiled and hug her tight
Y/n: Why didn't you tell me?
I asked, and I could hear her sobbing on my shoulder
Kitty: I didn't know how
She said and I looked at her with a smile
Y/n: Well, it's okay! But I want you to know that I don't care if you like boys or girls, and that I will love and support you until the end because you are my sister and I love you. Remember that this will never change no matter what happens in the future
I said, feeling tears coming from my eyes too, and she smiled
Kitty: Thank you!
She said and I nodded before hugging her again
Kitty: I love you so much, nerd
She said and I smiled
Y/n: I love you too little sis
I said and she laughed.
