It's my first story that was sitting on my drafts from 2019 and so my writing is not great.

(NOW BACK TO THE STORY)

Next day saw both Arnav and Khushi rushing to out in the morning. Arnav had forgotten to set his morning alarm, while Khushi ended up snoozing it and they woke startled late. It was a hectic morning where both Arnav and Khushi needed to be at the hospital and they were rushing around each other, ducking into bathrooms and bedrooms and kitchen cupboards, pausing to straighten tops.

No one had dared to flirt with Khushi in Arnav's presence, since everyone always assumed that these two were a couple and also knew how protective Arnav can be over Khushi. No one had dared, until today.

Both Arnav and Khushi hadn't told their colleagues that they are married to each other. And so it shouldn't come as much of a surprise when one of Arnav's colleagues playfully asked Khushi for a dinner date. Of course, everyone laughed at it. Everyone except Arnav and Khushi of course.

Khushi was trying to be polite and reject the gesture when Arnav lost himself and said.

Arnav - "You should probably ask her husband."

His colleague was initially taken aback and asked - "Who's that lucky guy?"

Arnav, looking straight into his eyes in a rather intimidating way, replied - "ME!"
