Chapter 55 ==Engagement==

"Are you sure about this master?"

Cancer asked me, as I then slowly turn to look at the carriage window, as we slowly traveled to the Northern Kingdom

We proceeded to our plan, to infiltrate the kingdom, I need to marry the king if we want to make our plan work, our wedding won't be until the next month, as it is a tradition in the royal family of the northern kingdom to have the future Queen be stayed in the kingdom till their wedding,

And so, I'm on my way towards the Northern Kingdom, one month is more than enough to find the seal, or to find the subordinate, one of the most dangerous place in all of the continent, the Northern Kingdom,

"I'm sure... it's too late to take back what I have said to the king, we need to proceed to our plan, we've already come this far, it's too late to back down now" I uttered while taking a huge deep breath, acting as if I was not scared when in fact I am, though I already knew the king as Lex, but I am still afraid that what if he will do the same to me in our last life?

What if he'll kill me again?

"Then what about Kian?"

I paused when hearing his name from Scorpio's mouth, as I immediately turn to face her, "He... he does not exist to me anymore, we keep it that way, and also I don't want myself to entangling with an another man when marrying the King" I says with seriousness, letting out a straight face so everyone would believe that what I am saying is true,

"So is that it? You'll keep on lying? Can't you think for yourself just this once master? It is obvious that you don't like even the slightest bit of this arrangement, you can choose to ran away if you wanted to" Scorpio again reminded me, her red eyes stared intensely in mine,

"I don't have such feelings, Scorpio, I've always chose my head rather my heart, my heart does not matter, if my brain says so" I firmly says, as I avoided her gaze, not meeting her eyes as I continue to stare at the rocky scenery towards the kingdom,

The atmosphere grew quiet, noticing that I never had uttered a single word since my conversation with Scorpio where we had talked face-to-face, heart-to-heart

Even she never uttered a word when seeing that I grew silent, and I am kinda shocked that Virgo didn't protest this time, it seems that she is supporting my decision now,

"We are almost at the gates" Capricorn says, as my attention then diverted to the direction where the entrance to the kingdom is, and my eyes grew wide open as I saw how extravagant the kingdom was, unlike the book's description where the northern kingdom is dark, dull and boring, it is quite the opposite!

"Is that what I think it is?" Aries exclaimed as she then pointed to a certain direction, as all of us then turn to face where she had seen it and all our eyes were widen in shock

"It says 'Welcome our Future Queen'?"  Virgo finally uttered a word after some time, as I could feel all their eyes at me and I'm still frozen in shock, my mind still processing what is happening in front of me,

"Well, it's not too late to back out now" Scorpio remarked while letting out a smirk in my direction, I shot her a glare but as always it didn't faze her,

"Is this even the right place?" Both Gemi and Mini exclaimed as the two kids who are thousand of years old looked at the kingdom from afar they had their eyes lighten up

"It's the northern kingdom alright, though there are some changed" Cancer says while letting out an awkward laugh,

"They really dolled the place up, I almost thought that maybe we ate at the wrong place" Libra says, forcing a laugh as she is also shock about the scene of the dark kingdom filled with lively things,

"It is not a bad makeover, though I prefer the old one of course" Leo say, of course using her noble accent,

"You all must turn invisible now, we are at the gate- on second though, just stay where you are" Sagittarius says, noticing that as soon as we had entered the gates, every towns people were celebrating for our arrival,

My eyes widen at the sight of everything and my head is trying to process every action that the people had made as soon as we had arrived inside the gates,

Throwing a lots of flower petals in the air and they are all cheering for me, the road was filled with flower petals, and there are lots of banner around the town, and many had thrown a lot of confetti, as if that they really wanted me to be their queen,

"Master, I believe you need to pay respect to everyone and thank them" Virgo says, snapping me from my thoughts, "Do I have to?" I ask her, not wanting to show my face to everyone yet, especially that I am is still shock if what is currently happening right now,

"You have to, so they won't think that you are snobbish and rude, since you had already made up your mind to be their queen, you need to win their hearts" Virgo told me, unlike Scorpio, Virgo respected my decisions and gave me advices on what to do,

"Fine" I uttered, as I slowly took a huge deep breath as my hands went to open the carriage window ready to wave at the townspeople, but as soon as it was open, a large trumpet was heard, I immediately stopped whatever I am doing, and faced at the front, and my eyes widen again for a thousand times already,

Seeing the Young King, along with his mother awaiting for her arrival in front of their palace, I nervously gulped as the carriage had stopped its tracks in front of the palace, leaving her no choice but to get out and greet the royal family,

With the help of the coachman, she successfully went out from the carriage, along with 2 maids, who are Sagittarius and Cancer,

I slowly walked in towards the northern kingdom's royal family and curtsied in front of them with perfect stance,

"Good Day to you, Your royal highnesses" I greeted them with a capitalist smile plastered in my face,

"It's a pleasure to meet you again, my dear" Queen Lilith says, as usual with those eyes that wants to eat me, but I ain't scared of her,

The two of us then stared at each other, neither of us are breaking the eye contact as if that we are declaring war at each other

"My Lady"

I silently groaned when hearing the king called out to me, I broke the eye contact and faced the young king,

"Yes?" I responded with a smile plastered in my face, I noticed how intense his gaze at me with a small smile,

"You look beautiful"
