"Im Belize but my friends call me Belle, well i actually only have one friend but now i have you so two whole people will call me Belle!"
i stare at her with raised eyebrows, her smile never falters
"Anywho" she rocks on her feet "what's your name?"...
her giggle has been on repeat in my head like a song that you can't get out of your head until you listen to it again
"KILLIAN!"
"what Lorenzo" I turn to him
"I've been calling your name for the last 5 fucking minutes what were you thinking about"
"Nothing just business and stuff" I lie through my teeth
"business and stuff, yeah right" he scoffs
"I bet it was that pretty girl again wasn't it"
"I don't know what you are talking about," I tell him
"I'm right aren't I, do you even know her name?"
"yes"
"Well?" he pushes
"well what"
"what's her name?"
"Belize," I tell him quietly "but I call her Belle" I mumble practically a whisper
"what was that Killian?" he raises his eyebrows with a smug look on his face
"Her name is Belize but I call her Belle, happy?"
he smirks "On a nickname basis are we now?"
"whatever" I stand up and walk out of the large double doors to where around 30 of my men are standing in the foyer, talking between themselves
"ah, I was joking kill it's cute you are in love!" Enzo shouts making everyone go silent and turn their heads to me
I turn my head to Enzo who is standing behind me sheepishly realising how loudly he said it
I stalk closer to him and he gulps "I'm not fucking in love Lorenzo, a girl told me her nickname got it?"
he nods
"so get your head out of your ass and learn your place I'm still your don" I grit
"everyone back to work"
I shout making everyone scatter
I take a car into the city and go towards the park taking out a cigarette
I see her sitting on a bench eating another brownie with her earphones in
as if she can feel my intense gaze on her perfect face she turns her head towards me, smiling brightly
her gaze moves from my eyes to the cigarette between my lips
I take it out of my mouth and throw it away as I make my way closer to her
I take this moment to look at her outfit, she's wearing cut-off denim overalls with a white top underneath, one of the denim straps hanging loose so that I can see her bare shoulder
