Right now I'm sitting at my desk with Carlo on my lap
"papà"
"What prince?" I kiss his head
he points at a gun on my screen, one that was stolen from us about a week ago
"do you like it?"
"pew pew" he makes finger guns
I laugh loudly at him "Well done prince"
"tank you papà" he leans against me again
Belle comes in with that pretty smile on her face
"Can I go shopping with Julio please?" she asks sweetly
"erm I'm not sur-"
she walks up to me and slings her arms around my neck and leans her head against mine
"pleeease daddy"
I sigh
"We'll only be gone 3 hours max" she kisses the side of my head
this girl knows exactly how to get me
*sigh*
"fine but no longer than 2h 30 okay baby girl?"
"thank you thank you" I kiss her lips and her bump before she says bye to me and Carlo and happily waddles out of my office
"your mama is a smart woman Carlo" I sigh "I wish she wasn't"
just then Lorenzo walks into my office
"Don we have one of the men who stole from the last weapon shipment"
"nearby?"
"closest warehouse" he nods
"I need you to look after Carlo while I'm gone"
"what about Julio?"
"shopping with Belle" I huff
"you let Belle go shopping when she's due in 5 days?" he asks not believing I would do that
"she knows what to do to get what she wants" I sigh
Enzo laughs at me "I'll look after Carlo don't worry about it"
"I'll go now how many people are there?"
"should be at least 8," he tells me
"good" I stand up and give Carlo to Enzo before taking a car to the warehouse
I walk in straight to a cell where a bruised man is sitting on the concrete floor
I lock the door behind me and stalk up to him
"what's your name?"
he looks away from me like a child having a temper tantrum
"can't answer a simple fucking question" I shake my head
I take out my gun and shoot his calf
he screams out, I grab his chin
"what. is. your. name" i grit
"Tobias"
"See that wasn't so difficult Tobias" I pull him onto the metal chair in the middle of the room
"Who do you work for?"
he doesn't answer
I harshly push my gun into his head making him wince
"Who do you work for and I'll let you go" I offer
"Really?"
"yep I don't need to hurt you I just want your boss" I shrug
he thinks for a moment before saying "I don't know who I work for we never got given a name but he's new, very new, we're called Vipers that's all I know. Can I go now I have a family" he begs
"well aren't you a good boy Tobias," I say before shooting his stomach
he screams "You said you'd let me go!" he cries
"I am letting you go, Tobias," I say before shooting him in the head making his body slump against the chair
I open the door and tell the guards waiting outside the door to send his body to the Vipers
I get back in the car and head back to the mansion
I quickly shower and change before finding Enzo
"you have all the information yes?"
"yep"
"good where's Carlo?" I ask
"napping" I nod and go to his room to find him sleeping with rosy cheeks and messy hair
I crouch down beside him and stroke some of his curly hair out of his face when I hear the front door close and hear my favourite giggle
Belle
I smile to myself at the thought of her before leaving Carlo's room and closing the door behind me
I head downstairs and see her and Julio with shopping bags
"hey kill!" she grins happily
"hey angel" I smile back at her
she pulls something out of one of the bags
"look at how cute!" she passes me a tiny fluffy baby suit
"Baby we already have 7 of these," I say humorously
"I know but this one has strawberries on it!"
"very cute angel" I nod and take her bags
"I'm getting a snack," she says before rushing to the kitchen
"did you use my card?" I ask Julio quietly
"yes she tried to use her own but I used yours when she got distracted"
I nod "thanks" and take her bags to our room and the ones filled with baby clothes and toys to the nursery
I go back downstairs and find a maid "There are new baby clothes in the nursery, can you wash them and put them away?"
"yes sir," she says before scurrying upstairs
"KILLIAN!" I hear Julio call out
I rush to the kitchen to see Belle leaning on the kitchen island with one hand and gripping Julio's arm with the other with a scrunched-up face
I sprint up to her "What's wrong angel?"
"I think I'm having the baby" she grits
