Ride Or Die (UNDER MAINTENANCE)

Chapter 11

A P R I L

I sat there waiting for my queue. Dom and Brian raced passed us and that's when I wailed my sirens, and shifted to drive. They made a sharp turn, making the vault flip several times crushing cemented small street lights. They continued until making another sharp turn, alerting people to get the hell away before they're crushed.

I drifted, making the sharp turn, then pressed the gas pedal again. We kept chasing after them, but the plan was to keep heading straight because I could hear what Mia, Dom, and Brian were talking about. They made a right and vault crushed and hit the actual cop cars and destroying the glass window of a building. They took out a fucking bank. But they kept heading forward. Carefully I started slowing down, letting the other cops get ahead of me. I quickly drove over a couple blocks to wear Han, Roman and Tej were stationed, behind an alley waiting for their queue.

I got out of the car and walked over to Tej who pulled me in for a hug. "Are you alright, princess?" he asked.

"Yeah, but holy shit! They just took out a fucking bank!"

"Are you serious?" Roman asked. "Damn."

I couldn't help but laugh. A couple minutes later, we got the signal from Mia telling us to go for it. We wailed our sirens and got out of the alley. We were behind some actual cops, then headed in front of the one of the cops was about to shoot Dom, but that's when Han hit the cop to the side. That's when I hit the brakes and hit the guy behind me with my tail lights.

"You're all clear on your left." I could hear Han say from the walkie.

"Double that." I smiled.

"We're clear on the right!" Roman yelled.

We kept following them until we heard Dom call in.

"Thanks guys." Dom said.

"Anytime." Han said. That's when they went under the bridge and quickly switched out the vault, for the other vault. I went from the side when Giselle quickly slamming the door open. I opened my door and quickly hopped out of the police car, onto the truck, then slammed the door shut.

I could see my cop car, crash into the side of the bridge. "Glad you're ok."

"Me too."

I started unbuttoning my cop suit and changed into a orange jumpsuit like Giselle's.

I looked ahead and saw Brian and Dom on the empty freeway. "Please make it safe..." I crossed my fingers. We made a right and headed back to the hideout.

A couple hours passed and I was worried sick. Mia told me what Dom did to save Brian, but both of them haven't come back yet. I heard two car doors slamming and I stopped pacing back and fourth. I ran to the garage door and hit the button for it to open. Once it opened and I could see, Dom and Brian's face, I couldn't help but cry of joy. I ran over to Brian and jumped on him hugging him.

"I'm so glad you're ok..." I sniffed. He put me down and I walked to Dom. Slapping him across the face. "Don't ever do that again!" Then I pulled him for a hug.

After everyone got hugs in, Tej got to work on opening the vault. He got the hand print and put it on the scanner.

"Come on baby...don't be mean.Come on...." We saw the button turn green and it opened. Tej opened it and money fell down. I let out the breath I've been holding and kissed Brian. Everyone was cheering. Everyone was happy. I was happy

I heard a knock come from my door. I didn't even bother to say come in. My hands were on my forehead, covering my face.

"April are you ready?" I heard Dom's voice. I sniffed. "Come on why you crying April? Today should be the happiest day of your life."

"I'm not crying...well I can't because it'll ruin my makeup."

"Then why are you sad?"

"I'm scared, Dom. I don't want to end up like my parents. They fought, and fought and fought and eventually it messed me up. 60% of marriages end up in divorce and I'm terrified, to lose Brian because I love him so much. What if I'm not what he expects me to be? What if I can't be the perfect wife?" I said.

"Come on, April don't say that. I know for a fact, that Brian loves you too. And I know for a fact that he knows if he hurts you he's gonna have to deal with me. You're a Toretto, and Toretto's get through things, together as a family."

I smiled. "Thanks Dom..."

"Alright, let's go. You're husband to be is waiting for you."

"Dom...thank you. For everything that you've done for me in the past 11 years. I really owe it to you."

"Don't mention it."

We stood behind the doors and finally when the music played, everyone stood up and the doors opened. I could see Brian holding in his tears, and I couldn't contain mine. Mia was my maid of honor. And Roman was Brian's best man. I could see Han and Giselle sitting together smiling at us. Tej sitting next to Tego and Rico. We finally arrived at the center of the arch. I couldn't be more grateful that Dom delivered me to Brian.

"Take good care of my sister Brian."

"I will."

Dom sat next to Tej.The priest talked on and on and on until we got to the end and finally say our vows while putting the ring on our fingers.

"Brian,with this ring, I promise to laugh at all your jokes. To appreciate you always. To hug you just because. To support and help you all the time. To watch football with you on Sundays. To hold your hand as we pray. To stand beside you where ever life takes us and through everything life brings us. I love you. Every time I think of it -like now- I realize I love you more then ever before. I promise to think of it always. I promise to love you even more tomorrow and the tomorrow after that and all the tomorrows that follow. Forever and ever. And I can't wait to spend my life with you."

"April, with this ring, I give you my heart, I promise from this way forward. I love you means that I accept you for who you are and that I do not wish to change you into someone else. It means I do not expect perfection from you-just as you do not expect it from me. It means that I will love you and stand by you even through the worst of times. It means loving you when you're in a bad mood, or too tired to do thing I want to do. It means loving you when you're down. I love you means that I care enough to fight for what we have and that I love enough to not let go. I love you so much,"

I wiped my tears away with my left hand as he put the ring on my right ring finger.

"Do you, Brian O'Connor, take April Daniels, to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, for better or for worse, for richer and for poorer, in sickness and health, to love and to cherish, until death do you part?" asked the priest.

"I do..." He smiled at me.

"Do you, April Daniels, take Brian O'Connor, to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, for better or for worse, for richer and for poorer, in sickness and health, to love and to cherish, until death do you part?"

"I do." I smiled.

"You are now husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."

Brian leaned in a kissed me.

Today was certainly the happiest day of my life.

OK so I'm sorry I didn't continue the story since May. It's just I kinda lost interest and gave up on story telling but hey! I finished it! Hope you liked how it turned out! And a very happy late birthday to my baby Paul Walker who's birthday was on the 12th of September. <3
