“So Alexis will do two songs. Then she will get off stage and Austin will do two. Then she will come back out and join him and they will do two duets and Alexis will do 3 songs. Austin comes out and does three. And then she comes out and does one or two and then Austin comes out and does two. And we end with a duet. Sound good?”
“Sounds good.” I said. Alexis nodded in agreement.
“Okay well then lets do a run through.”
“Does it matter what order we do the songs?” she asked once she was on stage.
“Whatever order you do during practice is the order you will do at the concert. So choose wisely.”
“Okay.”
I still had one final song to do before we did our duet. I was thinking about doing my song ‘Not Just You’ but after she sang that song to me I wrote another one. I recorded it on my computer and sent it in to the record company. They said that they enjoyed it and that we would do an official recording when we had the chance but for now they said I should perform it because it was really good. The music started and I saw Alexis’ face look confused. I was nervous to perform it for the first time in front of her since it was about her, but I wanted her to hear it.
