Stars
Stars beyond the night air.
Stars outreaching anywhere.
Stars above a brighter new
Stars twinkling to a silent tune.
Oh Stars, I wish I could understand you.
You seem so far away from me.
The sight of you is the beginnings to a sweet dream.
I though you were a decoration for the sky.
But now I know you are angels' eyes.

Fog
I sink into deep layers of white.
As my feet carry me through the darkness.
Light from the moon beams through.
Silvery velvet clouds visible.
My way is obstructed,
By low lying fog.
This fog makes me feel high,
As if I am in the sky.
Why do clouds choose to linger low at night?
Though it gives ease to the fright.
Aluminizing with an inner light.
This dear fog makes me feel alright.
