Aphmau's pov

I was taken aback by her words. Why must I forget about Aaron?

"Wh-what do you mean?" I asked, my voice quivering slightly but I managed to keep my fake smile.

Aaron's mom smiled sadly and gripped the straps of her purse.

"Well, I am having Aaron moved to Falcon Hospital and after he gets better he will be trained in taking over our family company.....and once he is eighteen he will be having an arranged marriage." Aaron's mother explained and I felt tears sting my eyes.

"O-oh." My voice cracked.

"I'm very sorry." She apologized.

I forced a fake smile once again but my heart slowly shattered into a million pieces.

"No, it's okay." I said before rushing out of the hospital room.

No.....Aaron was going to be taken away again. Why did this have to happen!? Why now of all times!?

I ran outside and to the nearby park. I had to go to school tomorrow but when is she taking Aaron? He still hasn't woken up. Are they going to move him before he wakes up? What is Aaron's choice in all this?

So many questions were running through my head and I let out a shaking sigh as I slid onto a park bench. I don't want to be alone......they all say that your first love never lasts.....is this true? Was Aaron and I destined to be apart?

I shook away the thoughts and buried my face in my hands. I managed to keep myself from crying and causing a scene.

"Aphmau? Are you okay?" A voice came from a few feet away.

I looked up and saw Laurence.

"Y-yeah. What is it?" I asked as I wiped away the few tears that escaped.

"Garroth told me what happened with you and Aaron. Is he okay?" Laurence asked as he sat next to me.

"He is fine......." I said with one more fake smile.

Laurence frowned and pulled me into a hug.

"You've been crying. What happened?" Laurence said and I hugged him back and scooted closer.

"L-Laurence.......he is leaving again heh. I guess we were just not right for each other." I said and Laurence pulled away from me and looked at my face with concern.

"What? Why is he leaving? I thought he promised to be with you." Laurence said and I nodded.

"I know.....it wasn't Aaron's decision. It was his moms. It's not like I can fight back. She is Aaron's mother." I said and tears formed once again.

Laurence sighed. "Mother of Irene. Is his mom still there?"

I shrugged my shoulders and Laurence quickly kissed my forehead before getting off the park bench.

"Don't worry. I won't let that trouble maker leave you again." Laurence said with a smile and quickly hurried into the hospital.

I decided to follow after him and I didn't mean to eavesdrop it just sort of......happened.

"I'm sorry but this is best for Aaron. Yes that girl makes him happy but he has to stop acting so selfish all the time." Aaron's mother said. (Sorry, I actually don't know if Aaron's mom is mean or not but ya know. It's ma story. :D)

"How can you do that to your own child?" Laurence asked sternly.

"It is best for Aaron. He needs to take over his late fathers company." Aaron's mom said returning a sound of irritation to Laurence.

So this isn't under Aaron's control. I took a deep breath and left the hospital. There was a large tree next to the window of Aaron's room. I would wait for visiting hours to be over so I could be with Aaron.

I climbed the tree and texted my mom that I would be late home tonight. Finally the sun started to set and Aaron's mom left. I crawled across the branch and opened the unlocked window and climbed inside the room.

"Hey Aaron." I whispered as I walked over to the bed.

I sat in a chair and looked at his face. He looked like he was dreaming because he suddenly smiled.

"Stupid...........potato." Aaron mumbled and I smiled a genuine smile.

I started to play with Aaron's hair and grabbed his hand in my free hand. I kissed his knuckles gently and laid my head in his palm.

I felt myself drift off to sleep. I wish this warmth will never fade. I want Aaron to wake up and I want to tell him how much I love him.

I promise to you Aaron. I will wait for you no matter how long it takes. When we grow up.......let's get married.
