13 Reasons Why is a story based on a book called Reasons Why. It's about the suicide of teenage Hannah Baker and her classmate Clay finding out the reasons of her suicide. She leaves 13 tapes explaining the reasons of her choice. Several viewers say that the show is disturbing, and one claimed "no one should ever see that on a screen" while others say the show handled the topics well and it made them realize how suicide effects others. However, several sites like common sense media warn that the show has some rape scenes and wrist slitting and it might upset younger viewers and sensitive teens. Not to mention Hannah blames others for her suicide and it might send the wrong message. I found a post saying it's a trigger:
