7. Genius Labs

Joon drops the pan and runs to you eagerly.
"What?! Oh my god, tell me about them!" He says as he drags you over to the couch to sit.
Jungkook sits on one side with Namjoon on the other.

"Wait, first can you get me my notebook, I need to write this stuff down before I forget." You ask. Joon nods his head vigorously and goes to get it.
He comes back in a flash and hands you the notebook and a pen. As you write, you tell them about the boy in your visions too.

"Okay so... he had minty blonde hair and pale skin. He seemed really tired, it was almost 3am when I saw him. Oh and I think he's a music producer. He works in a place called 'Genius Lab' and it-"
You're interrupted by squealing. Yes, squealing.

"Oh my god I know who that is! It's AgustD from Genius Labs! He's my favourite rapper and music producer! It's crazy how good he is!... WAIT WE GET TO MEET AGUSTD?!" Joon roars and jumps up.

"I can't wait!"
Jungkook exclaims.

"Woah woah woah. He's someone famous? That's not a good thing guys. He's not going to want to go into hiding to protect the universe against a villain. He's going to think we're crazy."
You put your head in your hands and sigh.

"Hey, don't worry... we'll figure it out." Namjoon says.

"wait, you found out Namjoons sin by seeing him be extra 'proud' or something. Let's just see what other visions you get and hope that they link to his sin- his parents role in the council or whatever." Jungkook says as he pats your back to comfort you.

"You know what guys... I'm so glad I'm in this with you two." You shoot them a small smile and they smile back.

"Well go back to sleep, we'll wake you up in an hour for breakfast... Namjoon sort of spilled the eggs and bacon everywhere when he ran here..." Jungkook admits.

You laugh and hit Joons shoulder.
"God of destruction!" You giggle before they leave you to dream.

After sleeping for awhile you wake up disappointed, you didn't dream of anything.
Deflated, you get up. You sniff the air... it smells of burnt food.
What the hell are those boys doing?!

You jog over to the kitchen to find Namjoon throwing blackened bread and pieces of food away whilst Jungkook angrily washes a pan.

"What the hell! Guys! How can you burn something so much it turns rock hard black?!" You scold as you step closer to inspect the poor, dead, food.

"Its all on Namjoon!" Jungkook shakes his head.

Namjoon looks at you bashfully. "I didn't mean to!... but wait! I found out something!" Namjoon puts the plate on the counter then grabs a spoon.
You raise an eyebrow at Jungkook who just grins back.

"What?" You ask.

"Well two things actually. But firstly, the post man came with some mail so I tried to mind manipulate him like you do but I couldn't, the guy walked off looking at me like I was crazy... anyway, the other thing is so cool, watch." He holds the spoon up.

"Are you looking?" He asks. You nod your head and look at the spoon he's holding between his thumb and forefinger. He pushes his thumb against a side of it and to your amazement, the spoon bends like paper.

"Oh my god!" You squeal and run to him. You grab the spoon and try bending it like he did but it wouldn't budge.

"You really are the god of destruction!"

"I have a theory too. I think the everyone on Orcus has Telekinesis. But only the people in the high council have an additional power, which varies between each sin. For you though, the Pax- the leader of Orcus, you obviously get two extra powers. Maybe the Pax compelled human souls to listen to the council- to stop rebellions? It would work since human souls aren't from Orcus so they can be compelled..." He explains as you marvel at his intelligence.

"That makes sense. So Telekinesis is the binding power that everyone from Orcus has, but each sin has a variation, a unique power." Jungkook chimes in.

"And the Pax has an extra power as well as Telekinesis and another ability." You scratch your chin in deep thought. You were about to leave to get your Notebook before Namjoon stops you.

"I've already jotted it down in the notebook." He says and gives a knowing look.

He sighs and looks down at his lap. "I've always wanted to meet my birth parents... but deep down, I've had doubt that meeting them will never happen. Guess I was right."

You pull Joon into a hug.
"I feel the same way. But I want you to know, you do have a family now. You have me, and the other five that we'll meet- well hopefully. We're all in this together Joon. Besides, we're all childhood friends in a way."

"I see the High school musical reference there." He says with a smirk. You roll your eyes and pull away as he starting singing 'we're all in this together'.

"Shut up god of destruction. Go rest while I make some proper breakfast." You usher him away.

"It's not my fault food burns so easily!" He huffs and walks out.

You shake your head and begin clearing the counter.
"You can go too Jungkook."

Jungkook shakes his head and squints his eyes at you.
"I've got to make sure you won't burn the food too." He smiles.

"Oh ha ha." You roll your eyes.

After half an hour of cooking and cleaning you call out to Namjoon.

"Breakfasts ready!"
Literally a second later, Joon comes in and sniffs the air.

"Mmm smells delicious!" He grins and sits at the table. You lay a plate of sausage, eggs and toast in front of him.

"All thanks to me." Jungkook chuckles.

"I did all the work." You defend. "Dig in."

The three of you start eating.

"I looked into AgustD- Yoongi. He's notorious for sleeping literally anywhere." Namjoon says in between spoonfuls.

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" You raise an eyebrow at him.

"Sloth." Jungkook nods in agreement. "And I have an idea on how we can meet him."

You stop chewing and look at him.
"You're smarter than you look."

He chuckles and shoves another spoonful of beans into his mouth. "Let's start planning."
