Chapter 63- The call

Y/N's POV

It has been 3 days since SungHee died and i was back to work,Even though boss told me to take as much days off as i want but still i came because i couldn't stay at home and i needed to distract my mind...
After that night i and jungkook didn't get the chance to talk to each other properly...

"Are you okay now?" Interrupted yoongi
"Yup, i am much better now." I replied giving slight smile
"Do you wanna go out or something ?" He asked
"No no, i am fine .. i just need a little time plus a lot of work has been piled up so i need to take care of that." I said
"Okay then take care of yourself and don't think much.. i ll see you later then" he answered as he walked away

*ring ring*
"Yes boss, okay i ll come in a minute"

I pushed open the door to his room only to be welcomed by a warm smile that he pulled towards my direction
"Yes boss?" I asked
"How are you feeling now?" He asked as he walked towards me
"Much better , thankyou for your kindness boss." I said
"I called you here because i wanted to take you out somewhere " he said slipping his hands in his pocket
"No boss i ll be fine!" I answered
"Oh come on y/n , you ll feel much better trust me ." He said and i couldn't argue further since he has always been doing alot for me so i agreed...

After work boss took me out to some cafe , it wasn't really an expensive one but it was pretty decent...
There we talked about some normal stuff , it was for a short time though but i felt much better after that, his fun loving jolly personality never failed to make me laugh and now he was dropping me home , i hope jungkook doesn't see him otherwise i Don't know what will happen..

"Okay i ll see you tomorrow then ." He said as he drove off
"Its me tae?" I replied as i heard him ask
The door opened and i went inside only to meet tae wearing an apron

I took in his appearance
"What are you doing?" I asked in confusion
"Well i made dinner today , come eat" he replied
"But why? I would have done it tae!" I said throwing my hands in air
"Our little Nutter Butter needs rest for sometime so its ok." He smiled

"Come on" he said as he held my hand and took me to the dining room...
A stern looking jungkook was already sitting on the table
For a second we both had a little eye contact before we looked away, an awkward feeling around us .. i blushed crept on my face as everything that happened that day came rushing to my mind..
