After a long travelled from France, and finally reached their home in Hever Castle. Her sister Mary has prepare a family feast for her coming.
"Oh..My dear sister. I missed you." Mary tried to hugged her sister but failed due to her protruding belly.
"I missed you too, Mary." Anne hugged her sister back, happy that she is now home. "When is the due? I can't believe you're getting big like this."
Mary just laughed at her amusement and they went inside the castle and go directly to the Boleyn's dinner room.
"Wait until you get married and get pregnant, you'll be as huge as I am or may be bigger." Mary teased Anne.
They laughed together. They missed each other, they used to be together always.
They entered the dinner room where Elizabeth and Thomas waiting for their daughter, and George too.
"Oh! Anne, my dear." Elizabeth is in tears as she hugged her second daughter. "Promise me that this will be the last time you'll went away."
"I am not promising anything, mother. Queen Claude offered to find me a fine Duke in France." Anne teased her mother.
"No! You will only marry an Englishman." Elizabeth exclaimed.
"But Mother, someone already caught my eyes in France."
Elizabeth eyes widen in Anne's statement.
"Mother, Anne is only teasing you." George said and both sisters laughed at their Mother's reaction.
"Stop it, children! Don't make fun of your mother. Her heart is now weak."
"How dare you said such a thing to me Thomas! My heart is strong as I am 22 when I get married to you."
Thomas did not comment with his wife exaggerated reaction. He hugged his second daughter.
"Welcome home, Anne. C'mon everyone, take your sit and let's eat."
After they have dinner, Anne and her father retired in the tea room to talk about her pending marriage. As Thomas said, they will discussed something important with regards to their dispute with the Butler's.
"Anne, Cardinal Wolsey heavily suggested that only the union between two families will end the dispute. I am old and tired of all of this. I don't want to have this dispute to be passed to the next generation."
Anne just nodded. She understand where his father coming from. The 40 hectares of land is the cause of the dispute over the three decades.
"James Butler, the 9th Earl of Nordom is a young and handsome man. Tomorrow, he will visit you and after, he will get the King's permission to marry you."
"Father, do you believe that the King will grant the permission?"
Thomas looked at her daughter. He knew that the king is interested with Anne. He heard that he went to France to see her and continue to send love letters and gifts. As much he wants to have king's favor in their family, he didn't want to repeat the mistake of pawning his daughter to the king.
Anne deserved so much more.
A husband that will adore her and to be a respectable wife not the king's mistress.
