After 7 years...

ENGLAND, 1533 - Henry

England become the wealthiest country in Europe because of the dedication of Henry for the past 6 years.

Henry explored the eastern part of the world and discovered the Ophir, Indonesia and China. These countries are rich in gold, silver and rare high quality spices.

These golds and silvers are kept in the palace for future purposes and then spices with high value were exported in France, Spain, Scotland and other European countries. Only with treaty with England can buy their the spices, gold and silver. Henry make sure to equipped England with these money with high profile warships and new discovered guns, and war equipment like swords and bombs.  England are now making a warship that cost a tons of gold.  England is in golden age, rich its full potential.

Despite of being the wealthiest King, Henry still empty inside and he know that only one woman can fill the emptiness.  He made himself busy, he did not look anymore at the calendar because he know that his mind will automatically calculate how long he parted from her.  

Yes, he bedded a few woman since Anne and him parted, he has needs but no one was able to capture his heart.

Catherine.

He flew back from Ophir because of her.  She suddenly become ill and the physician said that Catherine's days were numbered. 

Yes, he loves Anne but he still care for Catherine.

Henry stayed beside Catherine until she died.  She was happy that she died as the Queen and Henry's wife. Catherine's last words are..

'My heart is filled with gratefulness to you my dear husband.  Thank you for staying with me and please take care of Mary.  Please have a marriage alliance with Spain, arrange a marriage alliance between Mary and Philip II of Spain.  I wanted Mary to see my roots so she won't forget her mother.  I love you so much, Henry, with all my heart but I know, someone replaced me in your heart a  long time ago.' Catherine smiled despite of her fragility and continue. 'Pursue her, Henry.  You need someone by your side, you need a Queen. I believe she loves you too, I was probably the reason why she refused and denied her feelings.'

Henry held Catherine's hands, giving her a warmth. 

'Let's not talk about it, Catherine.  You need to get well for me and Mary.'

'I know that I will not live any longer.  But please, promise me Henry that you will arrange Mary's marriage to the Philip II of Spain.'

'I promise, Catherine.'

'Promise me too that you will bring her back in England.  Make her your wife.  I will be at peace knowing that she will take care of you, Mary and England.  You have my blessings, Henry.  This time, she deserves all the happiness you can give her.  Promise me, Henry.'

Henry closed his eyes and deeply sighed.

'I promise to bring her back in England, make her my wife and queen of England.'

After their talk, Catherine slowly closed her brown eyes with a smile.  Catherine of Aragon, Queen of England, is now at peace, contented with how her life ended.  England mourned with the loss of their beloved Queen Catherine.
