"No, I don't think that's the case. If they really wanted to kill her, it'll makes more sense if they directly attack her since they should be professionals." Zayden explains

"I'm impressed they managed to slip through the castle's security. The castle is well known for it's tight security after all." (Noah)

" What if this is a diversion? What if we're dancing in their palm and staying here while they aim for something else?"

Nii-chan is right....But who would they aim for? Is something happening today?....

"Our mothers are all gathered in Diamonda mansion! Our dads are working in the castle, no one is protecting them but a few guards..." I can't hold back my voice and shouted

"Carson, teleport us there now. After you're there teleport back to inform our fathers." (Zayden)

I can tell everyone is anxious but we all tried to remain calm.

The mansion is on fire?! Mom....

"Crystal! Water now!" Crystal's element is water but it doesn't seems enough... the fire spreaded too fast and the mansion is too big... This is no normal fire, it's magic

"Christ help Crystal" nii-chan said in a panic

Seems like I have no choice....

" In the name of Angelica, I summon you, the great spirit of water, one of the most distinguish King of Spirits, Water Lord ,please lend me your strength and extinguish the fire before me!"

"Angel?! Are you okay?! To think you summoned the water lord...It'll take a toll on your body." Nii-chan said worried

This is nothing compare to the pain I endure every night...

We rushed in to the mansion....mama? Is that mama on the floor. The others seemed alright but why is mama lying on the floor....

I got of nii-chan back and rushed towards her. Good, she seems to be alive but she needs treatment now! Her burn marks are terrible...

"Auntie, please treat my mom..." I feel tears pouring out my eyes

Carson's mom is a healer so she would be able to do it. I don't want to lose anyone here... They treated me so dearly... Was I so weak to be unable to protect the people dear to me? I need to get stronger...

"Of course, dear." Carson's mom replied

"She protected us from the fire....but she overused her mana....if you guys came a little later, we would all have died..." the queen said sadly

"Goddess! Come out now! I know your are watching! If you don't I will go to you." I felt anger

"Angel...." the goddess appeared

"You liar! You said that those dear to me would be unharmed as long as sacrifice myself...what's the meaning of this? They almost got killed in the fire! You may be the goddess but that doesn't mean I would heed your commands whatsoever!" I speeded over and chocked her toward the wall

"Do you have any idea how much it hurts?! The thought that I will never see those dear to me again pains me, it hurted so much but to keep them safe, I'll suffer , I'll die, I'll do anything! But you broke the promise you made...you said they'll be fine and today I see my mom lying on the ground with terrible burn marks? How do you explain this? Do you think I no we are toys? And here I thought you were on my side."

Ugh... It hurts to much. Guess I am still not use to summoning the water lord... It's taking a toll on my body.

I released the grip on the goddess' s neck.

" Angel, what do you mean?"(Noah)

" It's nothing."

" Ange-"

" Don't. I am not in the mood to answer questions."

I glared at the goddess in front of me.

"Meet me later at the back yard goddess. We'll have to discuss some things there and you have a lot of explanation to do. "

She nodded and vanished, my knees gave out. Breathing rapidly.... I can't seem to get enough oxygen... It's suffocating... It hurts... So much... both mentally and physically... Is it an attack or is it because of summoning the water lord?

" I'm leaving mama to you guys.... " and everything became black...

What does she mean-

"Angel!" she passed out... Good thing Zayden was fast enough to catch her before her head hit the ground...

She had been enduring the whole time... I was powerless... I said I wanted to protect her.... I couldn't

What she said to the goddess must be a deal of some sort... She wouldn't tell us even if we ask...

It seems the only way is to ask the goddess... But Angel must have asked the goddess to keep quiet as well...

What to do? I guess we just have to wait for her to tell us... But I worry it would be too late then..
