Clara Decker, almost eighteen, was wasting away in the Ark's Sky Box for stealing rations. Her partner in crime, Rez Riley, was also serving time in the Sky Box in the cell next door. Every day was the same for the two: wake up, eat the flavorless food the guards give them during meal time, go to bed. It was a monotonous cycle that would have drove Clara crazy before she could turn eighteen and have the Council sentence her to float in the limitless vacuum of space.
Clara's daily cycle is turned upside down when she and the other ninety-nine criminals under the age of eighteen get thrown into a drop ship and sent to earth. They were told it was an uninhabitable, radiation-soaked planet, but when they arrive, the delinquents discover it is survivable. Not only that, but that there are survivors who have been living on the earth the entire time they were up on the Ark.
New discoveries, new friendships, and new experiences await Clara on earth, but it's only a matter of time before her dreams morph into her nightmares.
